【KIBOU PROJECT】=The Reconstruction Project for Disaster Areas of Earthquake and Tsunami
One year has already passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11th, 2011. The people of Fukushima are still struggling to recover from the devastation caused by the tsunami and earthquakes, as well as the radioactive contamination from the nuclear power plant accidents.
There are so many things that make them feel uneasy each day that it is difficult to have a clear vision of a bright future.
We have planned this project with the intention and hope that the people of Fukushima will feel invigorated as they share a feeling of unity, excitement, and joy with people from other prefectures.
【Let's Jam in Fukushima】 Deteils here
This concert was born from the bond between two women, one in Fukushima and the other in Tokyo, and their wish for recovery of Fukushima after the March 11th Earthquake.
Their pure good will has attracted like-minded people and the project has developed as many more people came together contributing their own talents to the project. We are also very fortunate that the esteemed conductor, Ms. Tomomi Nishimoto, kindly gave us a helping hand. She understood our purpose and agreed to participate in this project as a volunteer.
Everyone is invited to this event. Let’s play music together and revitalize Fukushima!
If you don’t play musical instruments, you can participate by singing, clapping, or clicking castanets on the 2nd floor. You can play music under the baton of the world-famous conductor, Ms. Nishimoto.
We are welcoming participants not only from Japan but also from all over the world to share in our vision for Fukushima.
Please participate in this concert in Fukushima in Japan. Let’s play music together!
Your participation will encourage and inspire people in Fukushima and Japan.
Let's create the future together! Let's feel excitement together!
We are looking forward to your participation from overseas.
