morning banana diet

It's getting cooler and cooler these days.. I am shaking here my hands as cold as ice cubes! ...(((;m;)))..

Anyways, have you ever heard of something about morning banana diet? According to a TV show I watched this morning, it is a way of dieting that is getting more popular recently. Munching a banana or two with a glass of water for breakfast makes you lose weight. Other than the plain breakfast, you can eat whatever you want for lunch and dinner. Easy!

I found it unattractive though.. I know that when it comes to dieting you definately need to build your muscles first to burn fat. Of course I don't mean being a macho is good, but fundamental muscles are the first thing you need!
Bananas may lose some of your weight but it is only temporary. Rather you will lose muscle and be easier to gain weight...

I don't really understand why so many people go for the unreasonable dieting... The TV show said that super markets and grocery shops are running out of bananas. They cannot help but reducing one banana from a bunch or put higher price to control their stock and purchase price... This sounds so stupid..
A commentator even mentioned about exproited domestic banana plantation workers in Philiphine and Ecuador. In order to increase product to export to Japan, plantation owners gather workers and make bananas but when the extra bananas are ready and the boom would have already been over. Heaps of bananas would leave unsold and poor plantation workers would get sacked...

People, let's not buy up bananas!
The boom will be over soon and bananas will come back to shelf at regular price! Remember the cocoa dieting and Kanten (dried sea weed) dieting. Same thing is happening now!
