A Happy New Year from Osaka!

Whoa, it is a very new-year new year this year. We stayed at home selebrating it! It is the very first time in years.

Each year we go on a family trip during New Year holiday as my mother-in-law's wish. It makes quite a big party, the members are Yoshi, me, Parents-in-law, Yoshi's brother and his wife, and 2 of his children. Since two of her sons --one of them is Yoshi-- are away from her nest in Osaka, she puts great value on family get-together. Trip on New Year holiday becomes our family event these years.
Anyway,

4 of us went to Kyoto and pray at Yasaka Shinto Shrine. ... It was so crowded again, I hate it..sigh..
On the way back home, Yoshi jumped all of a sudden. What the...! Yoshi stumbled and twisted his ankle severely! His action looked as funny as a comedian trying to make audience laugh at the second but it was actually serious. I had to support him walk.. What bad luck it was for him from the beginning of the new year! Although I wished Yoshi's and my good health at Yasaka shrine ..
Maybe the holy spilit of Yasaka Shrine cannot handle all the withes that tens of thousand of people made today.. I don't blame of course! heh, heh.
