Costco

I went to Costco with Yoshi this afternoon.

Do you know what Costco is?
I suppose some of you do. it is one of the biggest wholesale chain stores in America and they have a branch store in Japan. No, I have never tried the store but I heard there was one somewhere near Tokyo.

They carry various products from electric appliances, P.C. to clothing to food. They sell in bulk so you have to deal with huge amount of things you buy. For example, if you wanna buy a sponge for dish-wash, you have to get 2 dozens at Costco. So you could share them with friends by splitting the cost afterward.

I usually buy meat and fish there. Those foods are also sold on a kilo-gram basis. I cut them into some pieces at home. Each of them is the amount one person should eat per serving. And I keep them in the freezer.

Wow, did I buy too much?
I bought 1.2 kg of Atlantic Salmon, 1.5 kg of cod, 1.2 kg of beef (strip loin) and 2.3 kg of chicken thigh!! Oh, what's more, I got 1.5 kg of bacon too. I put them in the freezer and I won't buy meat and fish for another month or two!

何でも売ってる屋さんなんだけど、全部バルク売りなんですょ。
私はいつも、お肉や魚はココで買ってます。
けっこう新鮮なんですよね！
だから、売ってる単位がデカくても買う！
今日は、サーモン1.2kg、タラ1.5kg、牛肉1.2kg、そして鶏モモ2.3kg買いました。
…店でも開くつもりなのか～～～～～？！（笑）

一人分ずつに切り分けて、ジッブロックに入れて、
全部冷凍庫にしまっちゃうんですよ。
