I believe I have mentioned here in this blog that one of my 飲み友達 -- drinking buddies, so can I translate? --- is getting marrried this weekend.
We were planing to throw a bachelorette party at a fancy hotel in Tokyo at first but gave up on it. I found it a bit unaffordable, also the plan cannot be squeesed into her tight schedule before wedding..
So instead of it, we had a small get-together at a restrant this evening. It is nearly the first time in two months that 5 of us all got together. We regulary meet monthly, by the way. We were like, 'long time no see!' 'I missed you soooooo much!'
We prepared a surprise gift for the newly-wed. Look what we got! It a double-handed round pot produced by Le Creuset. Some of you may know about this pricy yet tharmal and high in durability enameled pot. One of all wives' most wanted cookware in the world! -- Supposed to be --
Hope she will grab her husband's heart tightly with delicious soup!
