Four Strong Winds

"Four Strong Winds " は1960年代初頭に Ian Tyson（イアンタイソン）によって書かれた曲です。1963年にThe Brothers Fourが歌いヒット現在も十八番となっています。その後、Ian and Sylvia（イアンとシルヴィア ）の、1964年にリリースされた同名"Four Strong Winds "のアルバムは、カナダのチャートで大ヒットしました。
The Brothers Fourの"Four Strong Winds "はDick Foley のソロのものが有名ですがJohn Paineが淡々と歌っているパターンのものが非常にいいと思います。もちろん、この曲も我々Bark Yelｌowsの数少ないレパートリーの１曲でもあります。
この曲はJohny Cash、Bob Dylan、The Searchers、John Denver、Neil Young、The Kingston Trioなど多くのアーティストがCoverしています。
