The Beach Boys

The John B Sailsは、ﾅｯｿｰからのﾊﾞﾊﾏのﾌｫｰｸｿﾝｸﾞです。The Kingston Trioは1958年 "The Wreck of the John B"(ｼﾞｮﾝB号の難破)、 The Brothers Fourは1963年"The John B. Sails"(ｼﾞｮﾝ号の帆)をﾘﾘｰｽしました。そしてThe Beach Boysは1966年にｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ　"Pet Sounds"（ﾍﾟｯﾄ･ｻｳﾝｽﾞ〉”Sloop Jhon B"(帆船ｼﾞｮﾝB号）を収録し、ｼﾝｸﾞﾙ盤は、全米3位の販を記録しました。なお、歌詞のSloopは1本マストの帆船、grits(ｸﾞﾘｯﾂ）は穀物のひき割りで米国南部ではｵｰﾄﾐｰﾙ風にして朝食にします。
