Eｍperor Godaigo went to learn the Ichijikinrinji

mantra at kinrinji temple in Yosino.He made a gift  to the monks, and had a container for the tea created using ivy wood found in the local mountains.

The  original Kinrinji caddy was owned by Ashikaga Yshimasa,

 passed from Ashikaga Yoshiaki to Oda Nobunaga.

Many craftmen have made this using  ivy,pine,chestnut,mulberry,persimmon,paulownia and other such wood shaving a variety   of wood grains.

この道歌は習うよりも教えるほうへの教訓だそうです。

平成7年国際局から海外派遣要員として冬期講習に参加研修の機会を頂きました。

行台子は阿部宗正先生に御教授いただき7泊8日茶道三昧の貴重な体験をさせていただきました。

今生徒さんに行台子を指導する立場になり日々の精進をなほ一層重ねたいと思います。
