A container for tea powder for thin tea that was favored by Joso. The inside and outside of the lid is lacqured in red,and the top is flat, in the style called ichimonji.The inside and outside of the body is lacqured in black, and the bottom is small. It is thought to have been used with the paulownia tea box favored by Joso.The archetype bears the monogram signature of Yugensai Ito on the side of the lid.
