＜MAMA＞"TWICE" wins the grand prize..."Wanna One" and "PRISTIN" win the Newcomer Award

Girl group "TWICE" won the grand prize, "Song of the Year" at the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), one of the largest Korean music awards ceremonies in Asia.

Newcomer Award: Wanna One, PRISTIN

Best Asian Style in Japan: EXO-CBX

Inspired Achievement: Akimoto Yasushi

Golden Rookie: Chungha

Best Dance Performance: TWICE, SEVENTEEN

Best Concert Performer: MONSTA X

Discovery of the Year: NU'EST W

Mwave Global Fans' Choice: EXO

Best Artist: Block B's Zico

Song of the Year: TWICE

The 2017 MAMA was held at Yokohama Arena on the 29th.

This year, the Song of the Year Award, one of the three grand prizes, was announced, and TWICE was selected. TWICE also won the Best Performance Award on the same day.

The members said, "We know very well that it is a big challenge to stand here and receive this award. We are grateful to receive this award again after last year. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them from the bottom of our hearts. We would also like to thank our parents and will be a good son to them from now on. TWICE won the "Song of the Year (SIGNAL)" and "Best Dance Performance".

Some may be puzzled by the fact that "SIGNAL" won the Song of the Year award.
