4 hours from Dali to Shangri-La 

Another 3.5 hours from Shangri-La to Meli Snow Mountain national park 

The long travel is worthy of the scenery 

Hope tomorrow morning I can get a nice sunrise 

Tried the local must-have 牦牛 hotpot with 青稞饼 and 酥油茶 

I tried sweet type local milk tea, heard it can help with altitude sickness

My third day in Dali

Source of Erhai: Dali Westlake 

Tried some typical local food

 

Spent a few hours at Shuanglang old town

Second day in Dali 

Have a morning walk along Erhai 

Rose garden 

Got some rose flower tea and rose flower cakes

I really want to try rose flower wine 

But scared that it will trigger my reaction to high sea level places

Xizhou Old Town

Right next to Erhai

Look forward to the sunrise tomorrow

Hope I will get up in time 😓😅

Shilin, Kunming 

“Shilin” means stone forest 

Very interesting that they sell ice cream in the shape and image of stone forest 

Let me eat Shilin 😂😂😂😂

Get a watermelon cheese foam at Kunming railway station as a farewell to the city Kunming

Arrived in Kunming 

Woke up at 4am to get to airport for the 7:40 flight
