Message Title: THE LORD’S RECOVERY—EATING
The Bible reveals to us that God wants to enter into man to be man's life and everything. So God created man to be a vessel to contain Him. the way for man to receive and contain God is eating. after God created Adam, God put him in front of the tree of life, which indicates that Adam should eat this tree of life to take God in.
John 6:48 I am the bread of life.
John 6:54 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up in the last day.
in order to achieve His purpose, God also came in Christ to be our bread of life, so that we can eat, digest, and assimilate God into our being.
but man fell, and got distracted from God's original intention of taking in God, and even created his own culture and religion, which causes man to lose the Scriptural way of eating. so the Lord came in to recovery the matter of eating.
Eating is not something we invented, but there has been a line of eating in the whole Bible. when Israel people left Egypt, they had to eat the passover lamb. when they were wandering in the wilderness for 40 years, God gave them the manna to eat everyday. in John chapter 6, the Lord Jesus was repeating and emphasizing the matter of eating Him as the bread life, the bread which came down from the heaven. even when we come to the Lord's table meeting, there is the matter to eat the bread and drink the wine, which shows us that the true worship we offer to God is to eat and to drink.
Matthew 26:26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread and blessed it, and He broke it and gave it to the disciples and said, Take, eat; this is My body.
Matthew 26:27 And He took a cup and gave thanks, and He gave it to them, saying, Drink of it, all of you,
But after man developed and established the religion, the religion concept has become contrary to God's original intention. our human and religious concept always makes us to seek for more knowledge, more doctrine, and more teaching. in John chapter 3, Nicodemus, a very knowledgeable and religious man, came to the Lord Jesus for more teaching. but the Lord showed him the matter of regeneration. while the Lord was on the earth, He had so many conflicts with the religion people, such as healing the man on Sabbath day, letting the disciples to eat the grain on Sabbath day, which seems like the Lord cared for eating more then religion.
Revelation 2: 7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, to him I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.
even in the last book of the Bible, the book of Revelation, the Lord mentioned the eating of the tree of life as a reward to the overcomers. the overcomers here, is not to overcome the temper, overcome sin or the world, but to overcome the degradation of the religion and return to God's original intention, which is to eat !!! why do we have so many problems in our daily life? because we are too short of Christ. if we eat and enjoy Christ enough, all problems will be solved, because Christ is the solution to all our problems, and Christ is the medicine to all our sickness.
Revelation 22:14 Blessed are those who wash their robes that they may have right to the tree of life and may enter by the gates into the city.
even in the eternity future, all we will be doing is still to eat the tree of life, which is such an eternal blessing to us.
if we read Revelation chapters 2-3, doctrines or teaching is only mentioned a few times in a negative way; while eating is given as a promise, a reward in a positive way. here we can see that eating is versus teaching. Doctrines may help us to comprehend and understand, but they cannot supply us.
"What is the Lord’s recovery? Eating! What is the Lord’s way? Eating! What is it to be overcoming? Eating! What is it to be spiritual? Eating! Eating! Eating! Eating! "
Message Title: Meeting to Know and Do the Will of God
It is God's will that this wonderful Christ to be our Head, and our everything. Since God's will is the church, we now need to turn to the meeting of the church.
the definition of the "church" means the assembly. according to the Greek word for "church" is ecclesia, "ecc" means "out", and "lesia" means "called". so the church is the called out ones being together.
when we come to the meetings, we may come to know the will of God, which may not be so clear to us when we are alone by ourselves. Also, the meeting of the church is to do the will of God.
Exodus 5:1 And afterward Moses and Aaron came and said to Pharaoh, Thus says Jehovah the God of Israel, Let My people go that they may hold a feast to Me in the wilderness.
In Exodus, God charged Moses to speak to Pharaoh to let God's people go. while they were in Egypt, they did not have any meetings, but they were slaves to Pharaoh. but now based on the redemption by the passover Lamb, God's people could go and hold a feast to God. the "feast" is not that you eat by yourself. the feast was a gathering of all Israel people, which was a meeting. so God's people were saved, redeemed out of Egypt for the purpose of meeting.
in Leviticus, when they built the tabernacle, the tabernacle was also called the Tent of Meeting. the tabernacle was God's dwelling place. but it was also called Tent of Meeting. so "meeting" and "dwelling place" were inseparable.
after the children of Israel crossed the Red Sea while Pharaoh and his chariots were buried in the sea, in Exodus 15, there is a song of Moses, praising Jehovah. as God's people, the Israel people experienced two marvelous things: the first is salvation, by which they were delivered from Pharaoh and slavery, so that they can have feast, full of singing and rejoicing. in the wilderness, the Tent of Meeting was in the center, surrounded by tents of all Israel people, which indicates that the Tent of Meeting was the center and focus of Israel people. this tells us how important and vital meeting is to believers. the meeting should accompany God's purpose. In the meeting, we come to know what the will of God is. In the meeting, God's will is being done.
I. To meet is to know and do the will of God; our goal, our purpose, on earth is to do the will of the Father, and we do this by coming to the meetings of the church
if we want to know the will of God, if we want to do the will of God, come to the meetings.
II. We need to realize that besides our inner life with the Lord, nothing is as crucial, important, and profitable as the church meetings
in John chapter 20, on the morning of the Lord's resurrection, Mary was crying in the garden tomb, and she got the Lord's appearing to her. Mary wanted to stay there enjoy the Lord, but the Lord told her to go and tell the brothers, which means to go to the meeting. and on that night, while the disciples were having a meeting, the Lord appeared at the meeting and said, "Peace to you."
we, the church, the ekklesia, are called out ones, which means that we no longer belong to the world, that we have been called out by the Lord, into another realm. the church, as indicated by the Greek word ekklesia, is a meeting or an assembly of the called out ones.
III. In the meetings God makes His will known to us
Psalms 73:16 When I considered this in order to understand it, / It was a troublesome task in my sight,
Psalms 73:17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; / Then I perceived their end.
in this psalm, the psalmist was troubled why the evil unrighteous people were prosperious while the righteous men were suffering. then he went into the sanctuary, where he got the answer. for us today, it is also true. when we go to the meetings of the church, we receive another view, a particular perception, of our situation. God surely has a will, and He also has His way and His timing to carry out His will. when we come to the meetings of the church, we receive the divine revelation and God's way becomes clear to us.
IV. Since the will of God is in Christ, concentrated in Christ, and for Christ, and Christ is everything in the will of God, we do God's will through exhibiting Christ in the meetings
God's will is that in the meetings of the church, we will exhibit the Christ whom we have been experiencing and enjoying.
the will of God for us is that we would experience and enjoy the all-inclusive Christ and live Him as our life.
the concept that we may attend a meeting but are not responsible for the meeting is a fundamental error; it is a ploy of Satan to render the members of the Body of Christ useless so that they do not function. we all have a portion and we all can function in the meetings. we will not let Satan to lie to us and stop our functioning. the meetings are the best opportunities for us to exhibit Christ. Therefore, we need to come to the meetings prepared with some Christ to exhibit. as Christians, we are commissioned to exhibit Christ in the meetings and thus do the will of God.
V. Since the Father's eternal will and the desire of His heart are to build up the church as the Body of Christ, we do His will by functioning in the meetings according to the scriptural way to meet for the building up of the Body.
the meetings of the believers should always be linked to God's New Testament economy; we should be come to the meetings with a vision of the divine economy, and what we speak in the meetings should focus on the economy of God. we need to be governed by the vision, and link our meetings to God's economy. in order to do this, we need o be delivered from the clergy-laity system, which was established by the enemy to annul the function and service of all the members of the Body. we need to advance from just knowing the truth to practicing the scriptural way. the Lord desires the church meetings in mutuality with all functioning for the building up of the Body of Christ. we need to realize that we all have something, and there is no need to compare our portion with someone else. in our human body, we have hands, eyes, and toes, etc. in the same way, in the Body of Christ, we have different members, some may be hands, while some others may be toes, so no need to compare, just be happy with where the Lord has placed us in His Body, and be faithful to the portion the Lord has given us.
In the entire Bible God made eight covenants with man, seven in the Old Testament and one in the New Testament.
1. God's covenant with the created man.
Gn 2:8 And Jehovah God planted a garden in Eden, in the east; and there He put the man whom He had formed.
Gn 2:9 And out of the ground Jehovah God caused to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food, as well as the tree of life in the middle of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Gn 2:15 And Jehovah God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and to keep it.
Gn 2:16 And Jehovah God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden you may eat freely,
Gn 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, of it you shall not eat; for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.
2. God's covenant with the fallen man.
Gn 3:14And Jehovah God said to the serpent,
Because you have done this, / You are cursed more than all the cattle / And more than all the animals of the field: / Upon your stomach you will go, / And dust you will eat / All the days of your life.
Because you have done this, / You are cursed more than all the cattle / And more than all the animals of the field: / Upon your stomach you will go, / And dust you will eat / All the days of your life.
Gn 3:15 And I will put enmity / Between you and the woman / And between your seed and her seed; / He will bruise you on the head, / But you will bruise him on the heel.
Gn 3:16 To the woman He said,
I will greatly multiply / Your pain in your childbearing; / In pain you will bring forth children. / And your desire will be to your husband, / And he will rule over you.
I will greatly multiply / Your pain in your childbearing; / In pain you will bring forth children. / And your desire will be to your husband, / And he will rule over you.
Gn 3:17 And to Adam He said, Because you listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree concerning which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it;
Cursed is the ground because of you; / In toil will you eat of it / All the days of your life.
Cursed is the ground because of you; / In toil will you eat of it / All the days of your life.
Gn 3:18 And thorns and thistles will it bring forth for you, / And you will eat the herb of the field;
Gn 3:19 By the sweat of your face / You will eat bread / Until you return to the ground, / Because from it you were taken; / For dust you are, / And to dust you shall return.
3. God's covenant with Noah after the flood.
Gn 9:8 Then God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying,
Gn 9:9 And I Myself now establish My covenant with you and with your seed after you
Gn 9:10 And with every living animal that is with you: the birds, the cattle, and every animal of the earth with you, of all that came out of the ark, every animal of the earth.
Gn 9:11 And I establish My covenant with you, that never again will all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood, and never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.
Gn 9:12And God said, This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between Me and you and every living animal that is with you, for perpetual generations:
Gn 9:13 I set My bow in the clouds, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth.
Gn 9:14 And when I bring clouds over the earth, and the bow is seen in the clouds,
Gn 9:15 I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living animal of all flesh, and never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all flesh.
Gn 9:16 And the bow will be in the clouds, and I will look upon it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living animal of all flesh that is upon the earth.
Gn 9:17 And God said to Noah, This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
4. God's covenant with Abraham, which was repeated with Isaac and Jacob.
Gn 12:1 Now Jehovah said to Abram,
Go from your land / And from your relatives / And from your father’s house / To the land that I will show you;
Go from your land / And from your relatives / And from your father’s house / To the land that I will show you;
Gn 12:2 And I will make of you a great nation, / And I will bless you / And make your name great; / And you shall be a blessing.
Gn 12:3 And I will bless those who bless you, / And him who curses you I will curse; / And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.
5. God's covenant with the children of Israel on Mount Sinai, recorded in Exodus chapters 20-23.
6. God's covenant with those who were to inherit the land, recorded in Deuteronomy chapters 28-29.
7. God's covenant with King David.
2S 7:8 And now thus shall you say to My servant David, Thus says Jehovah of hosts, I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, that you might be ruler over My people, over Israel;
2S 7:9 And I have been with you in every place that you have gone and have cut off all your enemies before you; and I will make a great name for you, like the name of the great ones who are on the earth.
2S 7:10 And I will appoint a place for My people Israel and will plant them there, that they may dwell in their own place and be disturbed no more; and the sons of wickedness will ill-treat them no more as before,
2S 7:11 Even since the time when I commanded that there be judges over My people Israel; and I will give you rest from all your enemies. Moreover Jehovah declares to you that Jehovah will make you a house.
2S 7:12 When your days are fulfilled and you sleep with your fathers, I will raise up your seed after you, which will come forth from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.
2S 7:13 It is he who will build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.
2S 7:14 I will be his Father, and he will be My son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men and with the stripes of the sons of men;
2S 7:15 But My lovingkindness will not depart from him, as I took it away from Saul, whom I put away before you.
2S 7:16 And your house and your kingdom will be made sure forever before you; your throne will be established forever.
8. the New Covenant
Luke 22:20 And similarly the cup after they had dined, saying, This cup is the new covenant established in My blood, which is being poured out for you.
Je 31:31 Indeed, days are coming, declares Jehovah, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,
Je 31:32 Not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by their hand to bring them out from the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was their Husband, declares Jehovah.
Je 31:33 But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares Jehovah: I will put My law in their inward parts and write it upon their hearts; and I will be their God, and they will be My people.
Je 31:34 And they will no longer teach, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, Know Jehovah; for all of them will know Me, from the little one among them even to the great one among them, declares Jehovah, for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.

Message Title: The Will of God - Our Sanctification
I. The will of God is our sanctification; to be sanctified is to be made holy, which is to be separated unto God and saturated with God as the Holy One, the One who is different, distinct, from everything that is common
"holy" means that we are different, distinct from everything else that is common. God Himself is the One different distinct from "common". we have been positinally sanctified by the blood of the Lamb through His judicial redemption. To be dispositionally sanctified is through God's organic salvation. Judicial redemption + organic salvation = God's complete salvation. sanctification is God's beautification.
Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her
Ephesians 5:26 That He might sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing of the water in the word,
Ephesians 5:27 That He might present the church to Himself glorious, not having spot or wrinkle or any such things, but that she would be holy and without blemish.
we are sanctified, beautified according to God's holy nature and with God as the Holy One. we are now in the sanctifying process, and also in the washing process, being washed with the washing of the water in the word. This sanctification has a purpose, which is revealed in verse 27, for us to become His bride, holy without blemish.
the word "saint" in the New Testament comes from the same Greek word for "holy". we are the holy ones. we are the sanctified ones.
II. Ephesians 1:4-5 and Hebrews 2:10-11 show that sanctification is for sonship; actually, sanctification is for God's "sonizing"
Ephesians 1:4 Even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blemish before Him in love,
Ephesians 1:5 Predestinating us unto sonship through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
God's sanctifying us is actually God's sonizing us, until the manifestation of us as the many sons of God.
Hebrews 2:10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and through whom are all things, in leading many sons into glory, to make the Author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Hebrews 2:11 For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of One, for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brothers,
the way the Lord is leading us, many sons into glory, is to sanctify us. By His sanctifying us, we are being lead into glory.
III. There are three aspects of sanctification in the Scriptures
1. the Spirit's sanctification in seeking the God-chosen people before they repent and believe.
1 Peter 1:2 Chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father in the sanctification of the Spirit unto the obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.
before we believe into Christ, the Spirit keeps seeking us. the result of this seeking sanctification is our obedience to believe into Christ. if we look at the record in Genesis chapter 3, after Adam and Eve took the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the first question Jehovah God asked was "where are you?" this is the seeking of the Spirit, seeking sanctification. The Spirit is seeking us out.
2. positional sanctification by the blood of Christ at the time of the believers' believing.
Hebrews 13:12 Therefore also Jesus, that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered outside the gate.
when we repent and believe into Christ, His blood sanctifies positionally, and separates us unto God.
3. the Spirit's dispositional sanctification in the believers' full course of their Christian life.
1 Thessalonians 5:23 And the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly, and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalanians 5:24 Faithful is He who calls you, who also will do it.
for our full life course, the Spirit is continually sanctifying us. we need to claim verse 24 and say to the Lord in a daily way, "Lord, Your word says that You have called us, and You are faithful that You will also do it. " when we pray His word back to Him, He will always answer our prayer, because He is faithful to His own word.
in Luke chapter 15, the three parables shows us all the three aspects of the sanctification.
In the parable of the prodigal son, who went away and squandered all the father's inheritance. then the son came to himself and went back to the father's house. the son's coming to himself is the issue of the Spirit's seeking sanctification within him. when the son came back home, the father asked the servant to quickly bring out the best robe, which signifies Christ as our righteousness, resulting positional sanctification. after the best robe, the father killed the fatten calf, which shows dispositional sanctification. by enjoying Christ, we are experiencing organic salvation.
IV. The divine sanctification for the divine sonship is the center of the divine economy and the central thought of the revelation in the New Testament
it is by the word that we are sanctified. sanctification is the holding line because every step of God's work with us is to make us holy.
1. the seeking sanctification, the initial sanctification, is unto repentance to bring us back to God.
Luke 15: 8 Or what woman having ten silver coins, if she loses one silver coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and seek carefully until she finds it?
the word "until" here is quite meaningful. the woman did not give up. she kept sweeping and seeking carefully until she found the lost coin. this tells us that we should not give up on anyone, those who seem not interested or open to the gospel today. we should keep praying for them, and trust in the sweeping and seeking of the Spirit, until one day they get saved.
2. the redeeming sanctification, the positional sanctification, is by the blood of Christ, to transfer us from Adam to Christ.
3. the regenerating sanctification, the beginning of dispositional sanctification, renews us from our spirit to make us sons of God, a new creation with the divine life and nature.
4. the renewing sanctification, the continuation of dispositional sanctification, renews our soul from our mind through all the parts of our soul to make our soul a part of God's new creation.
we need to be renewed everyday, renewed in our mind, our emotion and our will.
Romans 12: 2 And do not be fashioned according to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and well pleasing and perfect.
Philippians 2:2 Make my joy full, that you think the same thing, having the same love, joined in soul, thinking the one thing,
for our mind to be renewed means that we need to allow the Spirit to occupy and control our mind. so that we would think of the "one thing". this "one thing" is that we would subjectively know Christ, and let the mind of Christ be in our mind., let the mind of Christ be duplicated in our mind, so that our mind will become the mind of Christ.
Ezekiel 36:26 I will also give you a new heart, and a new spirit, I will put within you; and I will take away the heart of stone out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
Ezekiel 36:27 And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and My ordinances you shall keep and do.
the verse here says "I will... cause you to walk in My statutes". it does not say "you shall walk..." this is quite meaningful. so this means that the Spirit, is actually the law of the Spirit of life, the automatic and spontaneous power of the Spirit, which causes us to walk in His statutes. g
5. the transforming sanctification, the daily sanctification, reconstitutes us with the element of Christ metabolically to make us a new constitution as a part of the organic Body of Christ
6. the conforming sanctification, the shaping sanctification, shapes us in the image of the glorious Christ to make us the expression of Christ.
7. the glorifying sanctification, the consummating sanctification, redeems our body by transfiguring it to make us Christ's expression in full and in glory.
V. In order to live a holy life for the church life, we need the Lord to establish our heart blameless in holiness
1 Thessalonians 3:13 So that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints.
1 Thessalonians is a book written to the new believers. at the end of every chapter in this book, the coming of the Lord is mentioned. Paul wanted the new believers to be infused with the aspiration, with the view that the Lord is coming again. the "coming" in Greek is "parousia", which literally means the presence. the Lord's coming is the Lord's presence. If we are going to look for the Lord's coming, that is His presence within us. we do not want to lose the Lord's presence, which is His parousia.
Proverbs 4:23 Keep your heart with all vigilance, For from it are the issues of life.
the heart is the entrance and exit of life, the "switch" of life. if our heart is not right, life in the spirit is hindered, and the law of life cannot work freely to reach every part of our being.
Matthew 12:34 Offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
Matthew 12:35 The good man, out of his good treasure, brings forth good things, and the evil man, out of his evil treasure, brings forth evil things.
whatever fills our heart will come out from our mouth. we want the Lord to be the good treasure of our heart.
Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole inhabited earth for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Footnote on “gospel”
The gospel of the kingdom, which includes the gospel of grace, brings people not only into God’s salvation but also into the kingdom of the heavens. The gospel of grace emphasizes forgiveness of sin, God’s redemption, and eternal life, whereas the gospel of the kingdom emphasizes the heavenly ruling of God and the authority of the Lord. This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole earth for a testimony to all the nations before the end of this age.
所以我觉得M真的是no zuo no die啊。
Deuteronomy 11:12 says “ It is a land which Jehovah your God cares for; always the eyes of Jehovah your God are upon it, from the beginning of the year even to the end of the year.”
You have to live within this good land and enjoy its riches; then you will obtain the presence of God with the eyes of God. the presence of God will be with you because you experience Christ as your living water, because you are in the good land.
