went to Wellington Zoo in the early afternoon
probably the timing is not good timing, did not see most of the animals
doubt that they were all napping
only saw otters, giraffes, and the tiger
BUT DID NOT see the snow leopards, the kapybara
that is so so so so so sad
which means that I need to come again
had my super late lunch at Te Papa cafe
the waffle is very nice, but a bit too sugary
had a walk in the Oriental Bay, very nice view
given free chips, very nice, texas chicken flavor
had dinner at the recommended Malaysian restaurant
join the Song of Songs bible study gourp at night
we studied 2:14 to 3:5
this is the time, when the seeker failed to answer the call of the Beloved to rise up and to come away, then she rose up from her bed to seek the Beloverd in the city, and then she found Him who her soul loves, scaresly when she passed the watchmen, and brought her into her mother's room.
the point I really touched was that, when she sought the seek from the watchmen, who the Lord set over to watch and take care of His people, they could not give her direct help, but they must have prayed for her. then scarcely did she pass the watchmen, she found the Beloved.
this reminded me about the verse in Philippians 1:19, when the apostle Paul said that it will turn out to be salvation through your petition and the boutiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ. on the one hand, we are in the Lord's hand. the Lord is taking us on to progress in our Christian journey. the Lord is merciful and wise. He knows where we are at, and He knows how to shepherd us to bring us on in pursuing Him. also on the other hand, we have these watchmen, who have been committed by the Lord to shepherd the flock of God, who will be praying and petitioning for the belivers of God, in cooperation with the Lord heavenly ministry. this is how each of us can keep our faith, run the heavenly race, and finish the course in a victorious way.
