John 6:63

2024年12月02日 10時42分37秒 | Verse Sharing

John 6:63 "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words which I have spoken to you are spirit and are life."

The Lord Jesus revealed in the Holy Word that He would pass through incarnaton, human living, die on the cross, and resurrect to become the Spirit who gives life, so that He can enter into all His believers to be their life and supply. It is only after He becomes the Spirit, then He is able to be within His believers. Since He is the Spirit, we can take Him and feed upon Him as our food.

What is the way to take Him and feed upon HIm as our food?
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and the Lord has come into us and dwell within us as the Spirit. Therefore, He has made Himself so near and dear to us. He has made it so easy and so convenient to take Him. We simply need to call:"Oh, Lord Jesus." This is the way to let Him in, to take Him in and to feed on Him as our daily food.
Whenever we call, "Oh Lord Jesus," we receive the Spirit, who gives life, and who becomes our supply.

Dear friends, let us call, "Oh Lord Jesus!" to get this wonderful Spirit!

Ephesians 4:15,24

2024年11月24日 10時00分22秒 | Verse Sharing
Ephesians 4:15 But holding to truth in love, we may grow up into Him in all things, who is the Head, Christ,
Ephesians 4:24 And put on the new man, which was created according to God in righteousness and holiness of the reality.

The only way to put on the new man is to grow up into Christ. The more we grow into Christ, the more we put on the new man. To put on the new man is to be in the proper church life. We cannot be in the church life if we do not grow into Christ. We need to grow up into Christ in all the details of our daily living.
In order to put on the church life as the expression of the one new man, we need to grow out of everything natural by growing up into Christ.

Revelation 1:17-18

2024年11月13日 12時50分50秒 | Verse Sharing
Revelation 1:17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead; and He placed His right hand on me, saying, Do not fear; I am the First and the Last
Revelation 1:18 And the living One; and I became dead, and behold, I am living forever and ever; and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

God is not only the living God but also the God of resurrection. He died, but He overcame death. Death fought the Lord with all its might, but it could not conquer Him. The principle of resurrection is overcoming death and emerging from death. The God of resurrection has been tested and proven to possess an unshakable life.

Colossians 2:19

2024年11月08日 13時56分54秒 | Verse Sharing
Colossians 2:19 And not holding the Head, out from whom all the Body, being richly supplied and knit together by means of the joints and sinews, grows with the growth of God.

Since Christ is the Head of the Body, we have to hold the Head. Holding the Head is acknowledging that only Christ is the Head; it is coming absolutely under His authority. We can be joined to the brothers and sisters only when we hold the Head. Te ,ebers of the Body are fitted together and able to live the Body life through holding the Head. Our relationship to the Head determines our relationship to the other members. All the questions regarding our relationship with the brothers and sisters can only be solved when we come under the absolut authority of the Lord. Unless we recognize the headship of Christ in the Body, we will never have a perfect fellowship with the other members, because it is our common relationship to Him that causes us to be related to one another.
Apart from Christ, we have no means of fellowship. When we do not hold the Head, our fellowship becomes invalid. The basis of our fellowship is our mutual holding of the Head. When we all hold the Head, we will hold to one another, and our relationship with the Body will be proper.

In the Old Testament, God spoke to the people not once for all and in only one way but in many portions and in many ways: in one portion to the Patriarchs in one way, in another portion through Moses in another way; in one portion through David in one way, in other portions through a number of prophets in several differnt way.

Hebrews 11:1

2024年10月22日 13時29分36秒 | Verse Sharing

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substantiation of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

The unbelievers, being without Christ, have no hope. but we, the believers in Christ, are a people of hope. The calling that we receive from God brings us hope. We have been regenerated unto a living hope. Our Christ, who is in us, is the hope of glory, which will issue in the redemption, the transfiguration, of our body in glory. this is the hope of salvation, a blessed hope, a good hope, the hope of eternal life; it is also the hope of the glory of God, the hope of the gospel, the hope laid up for us in the heavens. We should keep this hipe always and boast in it. Our God is the God of hope, and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we can have hope all the time in God and can rejoice in it.

Ephesians 5:26-27

2024年10月20日 14時55分49秒 | Verse Sharing
Ephesians 5:26 That He might sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing of the water in the word,
Ephesians 5:27 That He might present the church to Himself glorious, not having spot or wrinkle or any such things, but that she would be holy and without blemish.

Through the sanctifying, cleansing, nourishing, and cherishing Christ will gain a glorious church as His Bride. Just as Eve came out of Adam and went back to Adam to be one flesh with him, so the church comes out of Christ and will go back to Christ to be one spirit with Him. God's desire is that the church which comes out of Christ and returns to Christ will be glorious church, a church that expresses God and manifests Him. By the sanctifying, cleansing, nourishing, and cherishing the church is being saturated with the essence of God. In this way the church is becoming the Bride to express Christ. Every local church must be such an expressing of God.
The glorious church, the church that expresses God, must also be holy and without blemish. As such a holy church, she must be first separated from everything common and then permeated and saturated with the element of God.

Ephesians 5:25-27

2024年10月06日 13時08分22秒 | Verse Sharing
Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her
Ephesians 5:26 That He might sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing of the water in the word,
Ephesians 5:27 That He might present the church to Himself glorious, not having spot or wrinkle or any such things, but that she would be holy and without blemish.

Christ's purpose in loving the church and in giving Himself up for the church was to sanctify her by the washing of the water in the word. Sanctifying is by cleansing, cleansing is by washing, washing is by water, and water is in the word.
Christ is sancitifying the church so that He might present the church to Himself. In the past, Christ gave Himself up for the church; in the present, He is sanctifying the church; and in the future, He will present the church to Himself as His counterpart for His satisfaction. Therefore, love is for sancitifying, and sanctifying is for presenting.

Colossians 3:4

2024年09月26日 10時00分57秒 | Verse Sharing

Colossians  3:4 When Christ our life is manifested, then you also will be manifested with Him in glory.

Christ is infinitely deep and vast; He is all-inclusive. It is remarkable that such a Christ ha become our life. This is also a mystery. Every Christian can testify to this mystery: Christ in us. Today He is our life, and one day He will be our glory. Today we live by Him and live in Him, and one day we will be manifested with Him in glory. He is our life today and our glory in the future.

Romans 12:2

2024年09月02日 10時08分59秒 | Verse Sharing
Romans 12:2 And do not be fashioned according to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and well pleasing and perfect.

The function of the law of the divine life in us is to take away, to kill, the old element of Adam and to impart, or supply, the new element of Christ. When the law of the divine life works in our inward parts, it kills and takes away the old things of our natural being. The law of the divine life has the power to reduce all the negative things in our natural man. At the same time, it adds in and supplies the divine element of the new creation, bringing the risen Christ into our being. While it reduces the old element of Adam in us, it supplies the new element of Christ to us. While it takes away the old, it replaces it with the new. It performs a kind of metabolism in the Christian life and accomplishes the transformation of life for us.
