リッキー、ウーちゃん、クーちゃんの陶芸大作戦

リスのリッキー、ウサギのウーちゃん、クマのクーちゃんは、陶芸に挑戦することにしました。

まず、リッキーは世界遺産「マチュピチュ」をモチーフに、「これが『マチュピチュボウル』！段々畑をイメージして、リスが木の実を運ぶ様子を緑色の釉薬で表現したんだ。器の表面には、マチュピチュの石垣を模した模様も施しているんだ。」器を持って軽快に駆け巡り、木の実を盛り付けました。

次にウーちゃんが、帆船「サンタ・マリア号」をモチーフに、「こちらは『サンタ・マリアプレート』！船の形をした皿に、ウサギが波間を跳ねる様子を青色の釉薬で描いたんだ。皿の表面には、羅針盤やロープの模様も彫り込んだよ。」皿に海鮮料理を盛り付け、航海に出る様子をダンスで華麗に表現しました。

最後にクーちゃんが、日本の城「姫路城」をモチーフに、「これは『姫路茶碗』！白壁をイメージした重厚な茶碗に、城を守るクマの姿を黒色の釉薬で表現したんだ。茶碗の表面には、瓦や格子窓の模様も刻んでいるんだ。」茶碗でお茶を点て、茶道の所作を披露しました。

今日は2月28日、織部の日。動物たちは陶芸を楽しみながら、楽しい一日を過ごしました。



Ricky, Woo-chan, and Koo-chan's Pottery Adventure


Squirrel Ricky, Rabbit Woo-chan, and Bear Koo-chan decided to try making pottery.

First, Ricky made a pottery bowl inspired by the World Heritage site "Machu Picchu." "This is the 'Machu Picchu Bowl'! I imagined the terraced fields and showed a squirrel carrying nuts with green glaze. The surface of the bowl has patterns like the stone walls of Machu Picchu." Ricky happily ran around with the bowl and put nuts in it.

Next, Woo-chan made a pottery plate inspired by the ship "Santa Maria." "This is the 'Santa Maria Plate'! I drew a rabbit jumping over waves with blue glaze on a plate shaped like a ship. The surface of the plate has compass and rope patterns carved into it." Woo-chan put seafood on the plate and danced to show a sailing scene.

Finally, Koo-chan made a pottery tea bowl inspired by the Japanese castle "Himeji Castle." "This is the 'Himeji Tea Bowl'! I imagined the white walls and showed a bear protecting the castle with black glaze. The surface of the bowl has patterns like roof tiles and lattice windows." Koo-chan made tea in the bowl and showed a tea ceremony.

Today is February 28th, Oribe Day. The animals had fun making pottery and enjoyed a wonderful day.
