数年前に熱く語っていた記事を今同じ温度で再現するのはむずかしいのでかるく結論だけを残しておきます

ギター初心者（学生）の頃皆がコピーしていた有名なギターの曲のリフです
DeepPurple「Smoke on the water」
当時は縮めて「スモコン」と呼んでました
This is a riff from a famous guitar song that everyone copied when they were beginners (students).

（余談ですが数十年後若者に「なんでスモコンなんですか？」と聞かれ略してる話をしたら「変なの・・」的な顔されました・・いやいや、君たちだっていろいろ略してるやんっ！( ・ω・)っ ﾍﾟｼ!!!と思いましたが略し方のセンスの違いなのかなと思い年を感じました(・_・;)マックかマクドか？のようなものでしょうか？
話を戻しまして、このリフ、殆どの人はこのように弾いていたと思います

当時私はⒶで弾いていました

ところがこの曲のライブ盤のギターソロ前のリフに、一瞬変な音が入っているのです
まだギター始めてまもない学生の自分にはそれがなにかわかりませんでした
ライブだからミスピックで他の場所の音が鳴ってしまうことはあるかもしれません
だとしてもそれによって鳴ってしまった音程にしては不自然な感じがしました（当時）
However, in the live version of this song, there is a momentary strange sound in the riff before the guitar solo.
As a student who had just started playing the guitar, I had no idea what it was.
Since it's a live performance, there may be times when you miss a pick and hear the sound from another location.
Even so, it felt unnatural due to the pitch that was produced.

結局Ⓑのこのポジションで弾いていたとして
In the end, if I were to play in this position of Ⓑ,
こういう２本弦のリフの場合メインの音（はっきり聴こえて欲しい音）は細い方の弦になります
（この場合5弦ではなく４弦）
In the case of a two-string riff like this, the main sound (the sound you want to hear clearly) will be on the thinner string.
(In this case, 4 strings instead of 5 strings)
となるとそれを考慮してあえてアップピッキングで弾く・・ということが考えられます
In that case, you might consider playing up-picking with that in mind.
そして、ライブという環境の中、アップピッキングでこのリフをⒷで弾いた場合のミスピックとして
１０フレットを弾こうとした時に弦がそれぞれ１本ずれてⒸのように⇩なってしまい
変わった音が鳴ってしまった・・ということは可能性として低くはないと思います
Then, if you play this riff in a live environment with the up-picking of Ⓑ, when you try to play the 10th fret, each string will shift by one and become like Ⓒ, resulting in a different sound... something like that may happen.
