Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. It's raining here in Nagoya.

Too bad. We were hoping to go to the annual Oktoberfest held in Central Park.

I know it's July, but, hey, even the Germans start the Oktoberfest in a different month (September)!!
During springtime, I worked on a project for Kenkyusha. My editor, Kaneko-san, sent me some copies of the finished materials. It is a series of four (4) half-tests, each one containing 100 items. This product will be used mainly in university classrooms. Unfortunately, these half-tests will not be available commercially for the general public, though we do have plans to publish a series of TOEIC practice materials early next year. We hope that the 1-hour length of the half-tests will make them suitable for use during a usual university コマ. According to Kaneko-san, already there has been a strong interest expressed by a number of university professors to use these tests in their English classes.
