Today was the 2nd day of our 4-day TOEIC Teachers' Training session (TTT11). One of the most valuable activities we do in TTT is practice teaching (模擬授業), where each participant prepares a 13-minute lesson to present in front of other TTT members. This activity is designed to simulate the type of teaching each participant is likely to do in her or his actual classroom. The other members of the group play the role of students. After presenting the lesson for 13 minutes, there is a 7-minute feedback session where the "students" give feedback to the teacher. There are many learning points during this session, even for highly experienced teachers. Then, after each person has presented in front of his or her small group, we choose two participants to make their presentation in front of everyone. Every time we conduct TTT, I learn something new from watching the practice teaching sessions!!
