Last evening I took a break from my Kenkyusha writing to pay my respects to Hiro and Ryusui.
Yesterday, they held an event that was very well-attended in which they did a reading of their recently released book "Gupta in Wonderland" (不思議の国のグプタ).
There were many people who came to hear them read, and intersperse their own brand of humor.
I wish I could have attended the actual reading, but I think my editor, Mr. Kaneko, would have suddenly appeared to kill me, had I attended from the afternoon.
However, because I made very good progress on our Kenkyusha project this weekend, I think he will permit my having gone to the party held in Hiro's and Ryusui's honor after the reading.
As you can see, there some interesting people in attendance. For example, the TOEIC Monitor Men in Black (MMIB).
Also, some interesting activities involving Hiro and Ryusui.
Not to mention some delicious food.
But the evening belonged to Ryusui and Hiro. Congratulations to both of you for a job well done! Thank you for letting us share your special evening together with you and many of your fans!!
