Yoshi coming back from business trip abroad

Yoshi had been going on a business trip to Europe last week. This time he went to Copenhagen, Denmark and Lisbon, Portugal.

It made me laugh when he emailed me from Copenhagen. 'It's cold, food's yukky, Copenhagen sucks!!!' (My apology, but he meant visiting the city IN WINTER was not interesting... In fact he really enjoyed the visit before when the season was nice.) His line was simple and rythmical in Japanese that rhymes! According to him, it's quite depressing in winter time mostly because of the daylight that shines only a couple of hours a day. There are long dark nights in winter on Scandinavian peninsula.

His email from Lisbon told me that he seemed to have fun. It's nice'n warm, bright daylight along with delicious food. He was in a good mood until this news hit him.

He got an return ticket of the airline company. Last night he called me telling that he might not be able to come back until the day after tomorrow at the earliest.
After all, luckily his flight took off Lisbon and he successfully came back to Japan as per schedule. He was really lucky because the other flights were all canceled from the next flight on... What the...

I was a kind of worried if he has consumed all of his luck. He had won Wii and Wii Fit a month ago too.. I think he should have spared the luck for tickets of Vancouver Olimpics. We want to watch figure skating!! I heard that many many people want that ticket so it will be sold by lot.

Anyway, I am glad he came back on schedule. As his birthday was November 13, we celebrated it be-latedly.
