... Phew ...
My disastrous Golden Week holidays were FINALLY over!! My life is back to normal. I should feel happy for that but actually I am not sure. I think I got too tired and my energy was drained going empty ... Oh, gosh. It is my mother in law.
Throughout the holidays, I had 6 guests over my place. They were parents in law and brother in law and his family. I was so prepared because I had to take care of mother in law with extra care. Parents in law came and stayed for a week last year too but by the end of the holiday mother in law was sooooooooooo mad that she didn't say a word to me saying 'see you.' I have no idea until now why she got that mad and ignored me. My guess, maybe, is that she was disappointed by my lack of attentiveness.. I tried but... maybe I was not up to her average.. So this year I decided that I would treat her like Queen. Whatever she says, like 'You don't have to do that,' I determined to do my best anyway, you know.
She is ... so difficult and so beyond my common sense... I thought people would be thankful when one is treated nicely and kindly. Don't you be? Am I wrong? In her case, it seems to be unusual. She just complained about everything... I really hate her comments on things... 'I don't like blah blah...' 'It is not good that blah blah ...' 'This is bad for health, blah blah...' Ah, I really don't understand why she speaks so negatively...
Anyway I kept make smile in front of her. I cried inside every time she says harshly but anyway I smiled and speak nicely... I am not sure I was always successful but I tried.
This year, she was not in a good mood but at least smiled and waved me when she went back to Osaka. ..Well it was not actually at me she smiled but at Jack, my cute black dog, though. She didn't ignore me this year.
