Hi, buddies. How are you doing?
Wow, time flies. I can't believe it has already been a month since I left Canada. ... I guess I should change the blog description blow the title. Shouldn't I?
I will be catching up on what I have been through for you.
First of all, Yoshi and I moved in to an apartment that I had mentioned before. The one with closed small kitchen, do you remember? I explained that it was located far from railroads so that Yoshi could get peaceful sleep.
Actually, it is not so quiet. The railroads are far but there is a fire station a block away instead. Quite professional one that fire fighters are training all day long everyday with shouts. Besides, they set off all kind of alarms twice a day! I can't stand the alarms though, it is interesting to watch the fire fighters scrambling up and down the ladder. And, because it is in residential block, there are so many kids and teens come and go every week days. You know them, they are never quiet. It is impossible to shut their mouth.
Honestly, I have never lived in residential area in my life. My father runs his own restaurant which has living spaces in second floor. when it comes to doing business, it should be in commercial area, right? Around father's house, there is a busy street in front and a rail road behind. A high school and junior high school across the street and a career college over the railroad. There is a small precision factory next door. I was always surrounded by hundreds of decibels of noises. Different kind of noise. I made whatever the noise I want to make too because no one cared.
Now I have to be careful not to bother neighbours. It is quite frustrating..
Yoshi seems more comfortable than staying in my father's place. He grew up in residential area. He is used to those noise kids make. Yes, good for him. He kept complaining about the "commercial" noises before we found an apartment. It woke him up early in the morning. Yoshi wanted to move out as soon as the apartment was available.
Anyway, our apartment unit was open from July 1. We moved in on July 3. It is a unit with 2 bed room, 1 living room, kitchen, washroom and bathroom. I like it facing South.
To get our life started, we bought futons, fax machine, gas stove, refrigerator, ceiling light(s) and air conditioner. Yes, this apartment doesn't have any appliances ... not even lighting... What a difference! Ahh, I miss our town house in Toronto! It has 6 appliances including a huge dish washer! Let alone lighting!
Well, we spent quite a lot but it is not enough... I mean our goods from Toronto haven't arrived yet. They said it is going to be delivered in early August... It sucks.. How inconvenient..
... Oh! I have one more to tell about what we bought. We bought a car!! It is a new Honda Fit. The color is rose orange. It will be all set and come to us this evening~~~!!! Yeeey!
The car dealer let us use a substitute car until but it was really really old. We don't like it at all.. It makes strange noise (noise again!) while driving. It makes us feel worried.. What if the break suddenly doesn't work?
They said it will be OK. The noise is caused by the half rusted muffler. ...Is it really OK??? Anyway, we have barely been going with the old car. Finally we will say good-bye to it this evening. Hello, Fit, our lovely sweet pea~~!
やったぁ~!}

You must have spent quite a lot of money for your new life in JP. To move is very tough phisically, and financailly as well.
Anyway, you've started new life in the new place. I hope you'll have quality life there.
Yeah, it costed us A LOT... Yoshi was kind of freaked out that he got more serious about pinching pennies.
I am going to get a new job and make him feel more comfortable. Hopefully.
