Mi Diario Español .....My Spanish Journal....

Pakistani restaurant

Feb.19, 2005

Hanging up the phone, Yoshi said "we are going out for dinner!"

It was around four in the afternoon, I heard my cell phone rang upstairs at home. I rushed to pick it up but I was too late. It stopped ringing and I got a voice message 5 seconds later. "Oh, it was Jerry-san.... " It was right the moment the home phone started to ring when I found who left the message. So Yoshi picked the phone.
Jerry-san, the MBA student like Yoshi is, asked us to hook up with him and some his friends.

I was at a loss for a moment because it was quite last-minute. We got a call past 4 p.m. and we were going to meet at 6. Ohmigod, I had to do my hair and put on makeup!!

The restaurant we met was Bombay Bhel (hard to pronounce), the Pakistani restaurant in Yonge x Eglinton. The cuisine resembles Indian food.

Six people gathered.
Three of them I first met. They are all Japanese and also majoring MBA at another university. They drove from London, Canada,(Not England!) the middle sized city 3 hours-drive away from Toronto.
Yoshi looked happy because two of them came from Osaka. Yoshi was also born in Osaka so the Kansai dialect they have must have reminded Yoshi of his hometown.

We ordered 5 different types of curry and a heap of Naan, the Indian flat bread and Tandoori Chicken. Kheer, the rice pudding, Gulab Jamun, the milk dumpling dipped in sugar syrup and something I don't know the name, for dessert.
I liked the exotic dessert a lot rather than the curries! Especially the one I didn't check the name... It is white chewy dumpling dipped in thick condensed-milk-like sauce. Oh my gosh, I should have checked the name. I want to order it once more!

学校ネタの話題が多くて、会話に入れなかった(笑;
(Yoshi

頭悪そうなしゃべり・なんだぁ~;

It's not connected with your article at all, but this template isn't the one for English, is it? Even though I'd also set this on my blog (this is cute, isn't it?), I changed it soon because English words are cut halfway on the end of lines, like 'cui' (sine is on the first of the next line), 'Lon' (don is on the next line).

Oh, is that right for sure?

In fact, I don't see such problems.

Isn't it just the word processing program in your computer? I am not so confident to state this ( coz I am quite a stranger to computer systems.) but, will you check the settings first?

Once it is set properly, you will be happy with it and successfully use this cute background!
