pizza cooked in wood stove

It is snowing like crazy at many places in Japan!  That is terrible! ...Except for my town though.  It has been mostly sunny here at the South skirt of Yatsugatake mountain ranges. That is why we, one stupid easygoing married couple, did something stupid for fun! 

 

Yoshi and I got an iron frying pan and trivet the other day. We wanted to cook a pizza in our wood stove!  Two days ago we finally tried for the first time. ...Yeah, of course we failed...  A couple of minutes after Yoshi sat the pan in the stove,  the bottom side of the pizza burned quickly. We could do nothing but just stared at the burned pizza... The inside stove was way too hot for baking... Oh, gosh... We could have been disappointed much worse if the pizza was hand-made.  In case we failed, we had bought a ready-made frozen pizza!!
