It was 7:30 p.m. when Yoshi and I arrived at Jerry's Cafe.
Yes, it means Jerry-san's place. It is a kick-out party today!!
Produced by Jerry-san, all the Japanese graduate students in their first year made nice food for Yoshi and Nuk-Nuk, who are graduating in June. I heard that it was one of the concepts of the party tonight. They are all typical Japanese guys who have no idea how to cook. You may guess what happened there but they did unexpectedly great, actually. I enjoyed those food quite a lot.
One of the guys invented unique garlic base pasta with Akagai clams and Shiitake mushrooms. According to him, it was Mediterranean style.
Although it was supposed to be a Japanese-only party, one third of all are from other countries. No wonder, the gang always have fun with Jerry-san. Besides, some are very fluent in Japanese! Who doesn't want to count them in? ( I might more likely be the one who is kicked out of the group.. 'coz I am not a student. heh, heh.)
I talked a lot and laughed lots'n lots. They are really really great friends. Ah, I can't believe we have to leave soon!!
Yoshiの大学院の後輩さんたちによる、「2年生のみなさん(といってもたった二人。)ご卒業おめでとうございます」パーティが催されました。私もついでに参加です。
