home "not" alone

I drove Yoshi to the airport early in the morning.

He is going to Los Angeles, USA, to have an interview with someone from the personnel division of the company that Yoshi works for. Some of you already know that Yoshi is studying here on the company's expense. The day we go back to Japan is coming up and they need to talk about where he should be assigned.

To be honest, I didn't want to spend a night all by myself. I felt a kind of scared because it was the first time to be home alone since moving in here 2 years ago. So I asked Nuk-Nuk to sleep over.
OK, you can call me baby.

It was fun having some drink and chitchat with a girl friend! I definitely prefer girls' talk, you know. We could have talked all night but Soho, the lychee liquor made us feel too sleepy to stay up, we hit the bed around 1 in the morning.

Thanks Nuk-Nuk, I never felt lonely! And I got to know you much more. Some of (... most of... ) what I said were off-record, please. Heh, heh.
