Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events
Above is the title of the movie I saw yesterday.
They made a kid's story book into a movie here. It's unique because the author Lemony Snicket mentioned like this;
"If you are interested in stories with happy endings, you would be better off reading some other book."
Yes, this is the story about three children suffering from a series of unfortunate events.
Jim Carrey is in it as a vicious greedy man, Count Olaf. He is the one who plots to get the inheritance from the kids. At any cost, he does.
The three kids are orphans whose parents died in fire. Violet, 14 year-old girl who is one of the greatest inventor in the world. Klous, 12 year-old boy, who reads thousands of books and has intelligence to remember all of the contents in the books. Sunny, still a cooing baby who bites as good as beavers. These three kids get over the unfortunate events with every drop of courage and wisdom.
The wonderfulness of this movie is not the ending but how the kids deal with the plots Count Olaf made. I found it exciting !
I cannot tell the detail so check the website out!

(you must have been born in June..)
I am glad you come over!
Oh, you got the book. That's wonderful! How did you like the story??
Yes, you're right. this movie is based on the volume 1.
You can expect the movie, I guarantee. I never read the series but no one who read the book seemed disappointed. As far as I know though.
I heard that the volume 12 has already been published.
I want to get the series but 12 books are too many ! It stops me from buying even the first one...
it is planned to publish 13 books only
:)
Oh, is that right that the series will be finished in 13th book? Well, then I think I should go for them, shouldn't I?
Thanks for telling me about it. I appreciate that!
