道路交通法違反の現行犯で逮捕された男７２歳の男はスリッパを履いていたそうです。道路交通法第70条、第71条の規定ではスリッパ履きが交通違反の原因になる場合があるそうです。いわゆる安全運転の義務に反する場合があるとのこと。私は暑がりですが、かかとがすり抜けるスリッパは履き難いです。各都道府県の公安委員会で、同法の細則を定めていますので、留意が必要です。
The 72-year-old man who was arrested for violating the Road Traffic Act was apparently wearing slippers. According to Articles 70 and 71 of the Road Traffic Act, wearing slippers may cause a traffic violation. It is said that this may violate the so-called duty of safe driving. I'm sensitive to heat, but I find it difficult to wear slippers that slip through my heels. Please note that each prefecture's Public Safety Commission establishes detailed rules for the Act.
