Let's imagine,
how much do you know about your job?
what does the name stand for?
how different is this restaurant fromthe others of the same business?
this restaurant main customer is, so far, Japanese.
especially Study Tour's member.
so what kind of dish do they like?
how about their usual topics?
I'n not sure, I just gess.
such people like to listen to people's struggle for success
for example
when you intoroduce yourself, and you mention about your dedication
or effort they'll be impressed with you.
like this, in my case,,,
I'm studying English here.
I have a lot of things to talk but when I wanna speak, I can't do it well
because of poor vocablary.
I'm tring to remember words and practice by only English even if I'm talking with Japanese.
...so thank you for listening to my English
going back to the topics
I think you have already been doing that
Can you feel their interest or happiness when you talk about yourself?
I think the opportunity for this will increase starting today,
so this timemight be a good start to have a better way of making yourself known.
and it is a good training to make your story about your job,
if you try to understand cause of each job's beheive
it help you when you meet unexpected happening and manage other people
what does your restaurant offer
in detail, which dish is the most popular?
which dish can get the most profit?
-do you know the difference between profit and sales?
sales means how much this restaurant earn for some regular period.
where as profit means the money that you gain by selling things or doing business,
after your cost have been paid.
and,,,COST means the amount of money that you have to pay in order to buy, do
or produce something. Including your salary, rent and not to mention the dishes that spoil add to the company's expenses.
so it is very important not to waste any ingredient and serve best dishes and service.
do you know the proper costing rate???
then,,
I asked 2 type of questions.
one is just fact, example"profit""sales" and "the proper costing rate".
recently if you reserch on the Internet you can read various articles about them
and gain more knowledge
another type is a bit difficult
like this "what's this restaurant consept?"
"what should you do as proffesional?"
Why do businesspeople study?
-because we can offer better service
but there is no correct answer. case by case...
please consider "why does Mam request to you for such actions"
keep thinking about "reason"
each of you has to think about it
abd put your idea into practice to promote this restaurant
we are part of a team, and we must do our share regarding the business' vision
