I'm an amateur jazz vocalist living in Kobe, Japan.
I had a chance to know about your jazz vocal training studio.
So can I have more information about your lessons.

My husband and I are going to New York City
during our summer holidays,
which starts on August 8th through 18th.
Though our stay is a very short period,
I'd like to take your jazz vocal or voice training course.
Do you have such kind of program like 1-week or 2-week course?
If it is possible could you let me know
about your school system and school expenses?

Thank you for your e-mail.
I do not run a school per se but teach students privately
out of my studio on 28th street in Manhattan.
I have had students come to me for short periods of time only,
taking several lessons a week. If　doing that is of interest to you,
please feel free to e-mail me again.

My rate per lesson is $80, lessons are an hour long.
You can also do a 30 inute lesson for $45,-.

As I'm a beginner ,
I want the program to be started from the basic level
including voice training , how to scat etc .
If they're not available for you ,
could you tell me your convenient schedule .
And also if I find your lessons satisfactory ,
could I take another few days of lessons .

I'm sorry but just after I sent my first conditions,
I found that I have another engagement on August 10th(Wed),

As you already know I would like to work on vocal technique,
interpretation and scat.
In fact I've been learning jazz vocal for about 3years,
and during that period I have about 35 songs
which I sometimes sang in public.
But still I can't find out my ideal song which is suitable
for my character, voice, or atmosphere
so I am looking forward your choice of songs
which you think is best for me to sing .
I should say in general Japanese jazz vocalists
tend to choose almost same kinds of songs
but I'd like you to choose songs which can broaden my possibility.
