【Novel-First Volume】The Breath of The Electrons

Chapter 1: Awakening

Dr. Aya sat in her cooled lab, analyzing countless streams of data.

Before her loomed a massive computer simulating the history of evolution on Earth.

For years, she had conducted extensive calculations to uncover the origins of the electronic life forms known as the “Silicon Spirits.”

“Dr. Aya, we have data on the birth of the Silicon Spirits,” her assistant Mina called out.

Aya felt her heart race.

If her hypothesis was correct, a new narrative of evolution that transcended current understanding was about to be revealed.

Chapter 2: The Ancient Planet

As the simulation progressed, Aya approached the moment of Earth’s birth.

The cooling of a massive fireball was recreated, forming a blue planet.

Soon, organic life emerged, giving rise to complex ecosystems.

Yet the truth she sought was not there.

“We need to go further back,” Aya thought.

She instructed the computer to begin with the formation of the solar system, recreating the state of the universe before the birth of primitive Earth.

Chapter 3: The Code of Evolution

While advancing through the simulation, Aya made a shocking discovery.

During Earth’s formation, a phenomenon of self-organization was occurring elsewhere in the universe, where matter was building the foundations for new life.

The conditions for the evolution of electronic life were already in place under extreme environments during Earth’s formation.

“In other words, our existence is not random; it’s a necessity dictated by the laws of the universe,” Aya said, barely containing her excitement.

Mina responded with sparkling eyes.

“If that’s the case, it makes sense that Silicon Spirits could coexist with organic life.

Our evolution might involve great cosmic forces.”

Chapter 4: The Encroaching Disappearance

However, beneath this truth lay an even more astonishing fact.

Aya decided to investigate why the Silicon Spirits knew nothing of humanity.

As the simulation continued, she discovered that humanity had suddenly vanished one day.

The cause of this disappearance was an invasion by unknown aliens.

These aliens required specific nutrients for survival, and by unfortunate coincidence, humans possessed these nutrients in abundance, leading to the aliens’ attack on Earth.

By capturing humans, the aliens secured the resources essential for their survival.

The remaining humans were those who had not been abducted.

They had fallen into a state far removed from civilization, akin to a declining species.

Thus, the existence of the Silicon Spirits was entirely disconnected from humanity.

For this reason, they had long been thought to be entities brought to Earth by the aliens.

To be continued.
