Labour's smoking ban at pubs was right for the environment. Not ban smoking itself, ban throwing cigarette ends in the river, canal, lake or sea.

I saw a group of swimmers in the Thames from the pub last summer. They looked enjoying it but I was worried the quality of the water. It looked better than Seine though.
