ざっと読む限りはB1かB2くらいの易しい読みものなのですが。習得できていない単語だらけ。

基本単語・表現

don - don a Roman toga 超基本単語なのに。忘れがち。。
charity - 辞書で最初に出てくる定義は日本語の「チャリティ」と違う（「チャリティ」の意味もある）English Heritageはcharity
commission research - すごい間違って覚えてました。commit researchだと思ってました。。。
step back phrasal verbとしては意味は１つだけ
steely - Steely Dan/Naked Lunchは飛躍しすぎて基本の意味に繋がらない。。
judicious 読めば意味はわかるけど使えていない
opulent
contrary - contrary to - contrary to popular belief　これ作文にすげー使える！
mold（米） = mould（英）カビ以外にも意味がある
dispel 頻出語
neolithic - Neolithic 最初が大文字だとイメージできるのですが。小文字で混ざるとわからなくなる。。。

altar - portable altar - alterと混同する。発音は同じに聞こえる。まあ名詞と動詞だし。単語を知っていれば文脈でわかるか。

60代以上が一番オリジナリティがあったという調査結果は、年を取ることにポジティブになりますー。
若者は無知が強みですが。老人は知識・経験が強みにー。

私は若者じゃなくなってるのに無知なので。今頃になっても大学受験レベルの英語を勉強中。

Wagnerグループが活動しているのはCAR, Libya, Mali, Sudanなんですね。いずれにしてもマリはやばい。

アフリカは全然見えてない。。最近はコーヒーからエチオピアとかを勉強開始したところ。

移動は今のところ大きな問題なし。いくつかあったけど、回避策が新発見になった感じ。
