大正元年に福岡県飯塚市で生まれた超有名な和菓子。

僕は小さい頃から大好きでした。

お土産として人気だけど、、、東京駅で自分のために買っちゃった＾＾；


Hiyoko

Hiyoko is a famous brand of Japanese sweet cake in the shape of a little chick.

Inside is sweet white bean and coated with a thin smokey cake.

They have been around since 1912 and have been one of my favorites since I was a little boy.

Often sought after as a gift, I bought this one for myself at Tokyo station.
