I was just interviewed by Fuji Television's "Tokudane" staff

in front of the Shinbashi station.

"Tokudane" is a news centered variety show that airs each weekday morning.

My last interview was not used on air as my responses were a bit ... ridiculous.

You better bet I will be recording tomorrow's airing!

アメリカの運転免許証を日本のに切りかえるために

鮫洲運転試験所に今朝試験を受けに行ったら、、、この俺様が、、不合格、、、

チクショウ！

上手くいっていたけど、細いSカーブでタイヤが道横に盛り上がってしまった。

ミッションで練習無しで2年以上も運転していない、、、のは言い訳にならない。

名人ドライバーのこの俺様が、、、トホホ（マジ涙、、、）


Holy Moly!

I went to the Samezu drivers test facility this morning

to take the drivers test which would complete the process

of transfering my California drivers license to a Japanese license.

And ... I FAILED!!!

I can not believe it!!!

People told me the test here was tough and that most people fail at least once but ... not me, this can not be!

Right side steering, manual transmission, no practice, and have not been behind the wheel in over two years are no excuses ... because I am a genius behind the wheel!

I am so depressed ... but I will go back for revenge!

This mascot, Kuidaoretaro, is a famous Osaka landmark advertising the restaurant, Kuidaore.

The diner closed their doors after 60 years this past July.

It was rumored that there was a feirce bidding war for this mascot.

It is the famous sign for the crab house "Kanidouraku"

with their flagship restaurant in Dotonbori.

ポッドキャスト － Podcast

最近ポッドキャストにはまっています。

去年初めてiPodを買い、自分が持っているCDを落として聞いていますが

（もちろんキッスもいっぱい入っていますよ）

親戚に「ポッドキャストは良いぞ～」と教えてもらい、今は毎日見たり聞いています。

iPod Nanoでビデオとオディオ、以外と無料が多いのが嬉しいですね。

チェックしているのは主にニュースとかお笑いとかちょっとお色気系かな。

散歩 - 山手線

山手線散歩の続きで今度は目白・池袋・大塚・巣鴨を探検しました。

三時間かけて一万二千歩、主に住宅地ですね。

目白のちょっと落ち着いた高級感を対象に池袋と大塚のいかがわしさ、

面白いですね～

巣鴨で宮下橋のやきとり屋台、一本80円の安さ。レバ美味いね～

おじいちゃんが焼き、可愛い女性がレジ担当。孫なのかな？

今のところ４回の散歩で新宿経由で巣鴨～有楽町を歩きました。

今度は巣鴨から始めよう！


Continuing my Yamanote line walk, I explored Mejiro-Ikebukuro-Otsuka-Sugamo.

The three hour and 12,000 steps lead me mainly through residential tracks.

Very interesting with the contrast of the old but upscale Mejiro

to the raunchy Ikebukuro & Otsuka neighborhoods.

The highlight was a little yakitoristand near Sugamo with one skewer only about 75 cents.

While an old man manned the grill, a gorgeous young girl handled the register (his granddaughter?).

With four walking trips, I covered the Yamanote line from Sugamo to Yurakucho via Shinjuku.

Next, I believe I will pick it up from Sugamo!

今日は鮫洲でやっとアメリカの運転免許を切り替えに来ています。
