Famed Los Angeles Dodgers’ surgeon Frank Jobe dies at 88

Dr. Frank Jobe was one of the true Dodger greats although he never played, managed, or coached.
Best known for the famous Tommy John surgery, Dr Jobe is a orthopedic surgeon who served the Los Angeles Dodgers’ organization for the past 50 years.
His surguries have saved and extended careers of hundreds of Major Leaguers including Tommy John, Orel Hershiser
as well as famous Japanese pitcher, Masumi Kuwata of the Tokyo Giants.
