A style of procedure for making thin tea in midsummer.
It is designed so that the guests may feel cool.and uses a shallow tea bowl that is filled about 70% with water and has the linen cloth ,simply folded into two ,resting in it with the two diagonal corners extending over the right edge of the bowl.
The bowl thus ,is carried into the tea room, and once the temae itself is underway, the chakin is lifted out, folded further into two, wrung, folded in the standard manner, and placed in the standard position.
