（概要）

こころの哲学 philosophy of mind　においては、意識のハードプロブレムhard problem of consciousnessについての説明が課題となっている、それは人間および他の有機体が現象的意識などの主観的経験を所有しているはなぜかといいうことである。

"hard problem" と"easy problems"は1994年に哲学者　philosopher であるDavid Chalmers　発表して先世紀末から現在にいたってなお、哲学や心理学者でいう人間意識と物理系特に脳神経系認知科学者でいう意識との間での理解のズレがその論議が中核にある課題である。

本稿はWikipediaの英文Hard Problem項の翻訳であり、本稿問題の認識論的および物理主義的論議間での位置付けの状況を解説するものである。

(Abstract)  In the philosophy of mind, the hard problem of consciousness is to explain why and how humans and other organisms have qualia, phenomenal consciousness, or subjective experience.

It is contrasted with the "easy problems" of explaining why and how physical systems give a (healthy) human being the ability to discriminate, to integrate information, and to perform behavioral functions such as watching, listening, speaking and so forth.

There are a number of other potential philosophical problems that are related to the Hard Problem.

The terms "hard problem" and "easy problems" were coined by the philosopher David Chalmers in a 1994

Since his publication gained significant attention from researchers, and has positioned as a core paradigm of arguments  over philosophy, psychology, and brain neuro science.
