ボブ・キンメル、ケニー・エドワーズ、リンダ・ロンシュタットのストーン・ポニーズ。67年リリースのファースト。入手盤は東芝盤ですが、「featuring Linda Ronstadt」と入った70年代に入って再発されたジャケットを使っています。
アコーステックギターにアコースティックベース、コーラスはモダンフォークの趣。ただリンダのソロ曲"Just A Little Bit Of Rain"になるとフォークから離れてぐっとポップに。ただ後年に比べればまだまだ生真面目に硬いボーカルですね。

タイトルからジャケットまでもうまるでリンダのソロの様相のポニーズ名義の3枚目。マイク・ネスミス作のポップなフォークロックナンバー"Different Drum"のヒットを出して歌姫の座をまっしぐら、本盤ではストリングオーケストラに乗って気持ち良さそうに。お馴染み"Lets get Together"ではフォークロックそのもの。時代を反映したシタール挿入曲まであったりします。そしてここでもマイク・ネスミスの曲を歌っています、お馴染み" Some of Shelly's Blues"。
