トランプ前大統領のソーシャルメディアを運営する会社の株価が大幅に下落したという記事。
「トランプ前米大統領のソーシャルメディア「トゥルース・ソーシャル」を運営するトランプ・メディア・アンド・テクノロジー・グループ（ＴＭＴＧ）(DJT.O)の株価が１日の取引で２１％下落し、前週の上場後の上昇分を消す展開となった。
ＴＭＴＧは株式を３月２６日に米ナスダック市場に上場したばかり。多額の損失を明らかにし、継続企業の前提（ゴーイングコンサーン）を巡る疑義を提起したことが売りにつながった。」
「インサイダー・インテリジェンスのアナリスト、ロス・ベネス氏は「トゥルース・ソーシャルは過大評価されており、その現実が株価の足を引っ張っている。このサービスには黒字化への明確な道筋がなく、収益も微々たるものだ。上場時の高値は持続不可能だった」と指摘した。」
「トランプ氏は７８７５万株を保有しており、価値によって大きな利益を得る可能性がある。前週の高値では保有株の価値は６０億ドル超だったが、急落後は約３８億ドルとなる。」
「ＴＭＴＧは提出文書で「２０２３年１２月３１日、および２２年１２月３１日の時点で、債務履行に十分な資金を有しているかどうか、経営陣は大きな疑念を持っていた」と言及。当面の間、営業損失が発生し、キャッシュ・フローはマイナスになると予想しているとした。
ＴＭＴＧは２３年１２月期決算で５８２０万ドルの純損失を計上。前年は５０５０万ドルの純利益を計上していた。売上高は４１３万ドルと、前年の１４７万ドルから増加した。」
単位の間違いでなければ、売上はごくわずかです。
この会社の株価は、トランプの選挙資金調達能力にも影響があるのでしょう。ということは、大げさに言えば、ゴーイング・コンサーンが大統領選挙の結果にも影響するということでしょうか。

Going Concern Consideration
In connection with the Company’s assessment of going concern considerations in accordance with Financial Accounting Standard Board’s Account Standards Update ("ASU”) 2014-15, "Disclosure of Uncertainties about an Entity’s Ability to Continue as a Going Concern” as stated above, the Company has until September 8, 2024 to consummate a Business Combination. It is uncertain that the Company will be able to consummate a Business Combination by this time. If a Business Combination is not consummated by this date, there will be a mandatory liquidation and subsequent dissolution of the Company. Additionally, the Company has incurred and expects to incur significant costs in pursuit of its acquisition plans. The Company lacks the financial resources it needs to sustain operations for a reasonable period of time, which is considered to be one year from the date of the issuance of the financial statements. As a result, these factors raise substantial doubt about the Company’s ability to continue as a going concern. The financial statements do not include any adjustments that might result from
the outcome of these uncertainties.
