daylight saving time begins

2005-04-05 | what's up?
Apr 3, 2005

It has been snowing for the past two days.
... What is going on here? Hasn't spring come yet?
... Yes, it has. The snow is rather sleety because the air is warmer than that of winter. Spring has discreetly come but just hard to be seen yet.

In fact, the Daylight Saving Time began from today.
What is it? It may sound more familiar for you if I call it Summer Time. In North America, where that rule is adopted, people put the their clocks an-hour forward when the first Sunday of April comes. Days break very early in summer. People can use day time more efficiently if they wake up early, right? So they officially decide to wake up early! clever, aren't they?
They need to put the time back when winter comes, by the way.

When Yoshi and I woke up this morning, it was 10:30. "... Oh, no. It is almost noon. We have to change the time!! " said Yoshi. Putting it forward, we now woke up at 11:30 ... Oh, my. I felt like I lost the precious morning time!!

All right, it is no brainer. The first thing to do when a day begins is .. to eat. No matter if it is breakfast or lunch, (people call it brunch.. ) we went out for meal. It was sleeting hard that we could barely see the front when we were driving. Where we went was an all- you-can-eat restaurant. The buffet is reasonable that you can eat as much as you want at C$9.99-. They carry a variety of food, mostly Chinese Dim Sum because the owner is a Chinese. The taste is OK. Yoshi and I squeezed as much food as possible in our stomach.
