I went to Tai-Chi this morning.
I skipped two classes last week -----there are 3 classes a week----- so, to me, it was a must-go. The longer I goof around, the more likely my body forgets to move properly. So I needed to go getting up early even though I went to bed 2 o'clock in the morning!
When it comes to Tai-Chi as well as other martial arts or sports, you need to be patient. As time goes, no matter how long it takes, your skill will surely be improved as long as you don't quit it halfway.
Why do I like doing Tai-Chi?
Because I like its graceful moves. I didn't have a great motive when I started doing it. In my first class, I saw our instructor Paul's moves and I am totally attracted. His moves are perfectly in tune.
It has been for 9 months since I started and I still have a long way to go.
I finally learnt all the moves of full version of Tai-Chi but I need to control my mind too.
Paul says,
"Use your imagination. When you open your body, open your mind too, when you close, close your mind too."
It is a coordination of the body and soul. I got the idea but it's just difficult to realize!!
Rome was not build in a day, eh?
