It was before noon that three girls from Hong Kong came to my work place. I had a chance to talk to one of them while I was having lunch break. --- That was why I knew they were from Hong Kong by the way. She told me.
According to her, they just arrived here in this hotel yesterday. Their friend is having her wedding. I asked her if the newly wed is Japanese or Hong-Kongese living in Japan. She said no. The couple are both Hong-Kongese who likes Japanese culture. I got more curious and asked again, '..but why here? There are a lot more famous places all over Japan. I don't think this mountain resort is famous enough or "Japanese" enough.' 'They found this hotel on the Internet. We like it here a lot. It is quiet.' she said. I think I get it. Where they live should be far opposite from quietness. Living in Hong Kong, the lively energetic city... (I have never been there though.) This peaceful mountain resort must be fresh for them.
She said she will leave Japan tomorrow because she will have to get back to work. She works for Fin Air. Wow...
Anyway, it was very first time to have a chat in English since ... when? anyway first time in years. My English have been getting worse.. I have to train myself more! What a coincidence I got a call this evening from a temp-jop company I registered three years ago. The agent offered me interpreter job. That was intriguing... I just realize this afternoon that I need more chance to speak English and then the evening of the same day I got the job opportunity.. Should I take it??
