belated St.Valentine's day

Yoshi got finally back from the business trip around Europe! I thought, it was a day behind though, I would celebrate St. Valentine's day for him.

Firstly I got a precent for him. I bought a black shirt and navy sweater from MUJIRUSHI RYOHIN. It was not actually my taste but I needed to choose plain design because otherwise he would not wear it. For instance, I got an aloha shirt for him last summer but I have never seen him wear it. It was not that vivid but just moss green and dark brown leafy pattern all over the beige shirt. I thought it was nice'n natural but Yoshi did not like it.. Anyways.

Secondly I decolated a sponge cake with chocolate whip cream and strawberries. It was not fully hand-made though, I spent quite a little time on it!

And finally I made curry and rice for him, which is one of his most favorite.

... Do you wanna know if he is happy with those gifts? Yeah, well... His comment about the shirt and sweater, "Well, not bad. MUSHIRUSHI carries smaller sizes than other clothing stores. I am not sure if I could wear them.." then about the cake goes like this, "Do you realize where I have just come back from? FRANCE! I ate yummy French chocolate almost every day. I am very sorry but I am afraid your cake could get nowhere close to the devine taste!"
How could I be kind to him after he said that? I got mad AS USUAL right at the day he comes back. Although I was looking forward so bad to his back...
