My spare time has become very limited since I started my job.
It is OK. I mean I prefer moderately busy days to kind of unproductive idle days. What I am saying is ... I need more time for this blog on weekdays!!
When you write your journal only once or twice a week, too many things you wanna write down piles up, right? Or otherwise you forget what happened. Maybe you would come up with something interesting you did a month later but you already missed the right time to mention...
Anyway...
I have got a couple of different stuffs to tell you.
1: Magic Bullet
Have you heard of this gadget? It is a kind of versatile mill machine that is introduced many many times on a TV show called As Seen On TV ----...Is it really the title of the show? Donno..---
Yoshi and I have been fascinated by the machine every time we watched the show while we were in Toronto. We didn't buy it after all though.
A month ago, we found the exactly same one on Japanese TV shopping show, Shop Japan. A second later, we found ourselves ordering it.
.... Is it that papular?
( It should be popular because the gadget looked and sounded very very useful according to the show! But what about it in Japan? The shopping show is only on satellite TV. How many people on earth watch it?? I think it is a pretty niche market. )
It took it more than a month to be delivered. There was no report on the status of delivery. No immediate response even though I made a inquiry on the Internet. I was getting more skeptical if it was kind of Internet scam..
However! It is delivered the day before yesterday!!! FINALLY!! Yey!!!
I haven't used it yet but looks Nnnnnnnnice!! It would surely be useful!
2: TOEIC
It is a little too late but I received a score of TOEIC that I took on Sep-25. What is too late? It was supposed to be my special skills stated on my resume when I applied for the job slot.
My former score was a bit over 800 two years ago. I was bluffing to the interviewer that my score would be over 900 by now. In my heart, "..Huh? Am I really able to get the score?" Anyway, in order to show my motivation, I said that I would take TOEIC exam at the interview and I actually took it.
... Wanna know my score?
905 ! ( listening 480 and reading 425 )
Whoa it was close... I barely kept my word. phew...
.... Am I showing it off? YES, I AM!! Sorry, heheh! However, that proved I need more study English grammar.. I have never get the reading part to exceed the listening part.
3: digital scales
I bought a digital scales from Amazon.co.jp. I had had one but gave it to Anita, a friend of mine in Toronto, before I left there. The new scales is as nice as the old one. It is white, rectangular and has a wide window that shows the weight clearly. And one of the nicest parts of it is that it doesn't occupy much space.
By the way, it was my sister's birthday last week. As I mentioned in the last posting, it totally slipped my mind so I send the same scales to her as a belated birthday present. Mine is white but hers has a green pattern on its surface.
I was a bit worried if she really needs it. What if she already has one? Likely! ... well, she gave me a call and thanked me. She said she has an analog scales but is glad to get a digital one. Good!!
Huh, not so big news. That's what happened to me this week.
仕事を始めたら、平日はなかなか自由な時間が取れなくなりました。
定時に帰っても、ご飯を作ったりとかしてると、あっという間に１日が終わっちゃいますね～。
でもまあ、ほどよく忙しい方が、たらたらと暇にしてるより好きですけど
でもでも、ブログする時間が無いのは悲しーかも。。
さて。
マジックブレットって知ってます？？
要するにミルミキサーなんですが、トロントにいるとき、
テレビショッピングでしつこいくらい（！）CMしてて、またこれが魅力的なんですよね！
結局、惹かれつつも買わずに帰国したんですけど
スカパー入れたら、ショップジャパンで同じのが売ってた！！
思わず買ってしまいましたぁ
んでも、注文してから、待てどもx２品物が来ないんですよね。。
１ヶ月目にオンラインで問い合わせてみたんですが、なしのつぶてだし。。
インターネット詐欺…？とか不安になってたですが、一昨日ついに届きましたー
まだ使ってないですぅ。でも見た目期待できそうですよ
帰国する前に、友達にデジタルはかりをあげてきてしまったまま
ずーっとはかりを持ってなかったので、パンやお菓子を作れずにいました。
んが！ この程、やっとアマゾンで購入しちゃいました。
こぅして、クッキングガジェットが揃ってきたので…
{そろそろパンとかまた作りたいですねぇ～

... Yes, he likes the bullet because he likes those kind of gadgets. He doesn't cook though..
He makes banana shake with protein after the gym. It is good to make milk shake because it turns into a cup after shaking!!
