I want a sofa.

Yoshi and I are looking for a nice'n confortable sofa these days. Since we sold our futon, which is how Canadian call a sofa-bed, before leaving Canada, we want another one.
The only problem is ... the frames of doors are too narrow for most sofas we like... We can't get it in from the window because we live on second floor. Hang-it-in is not our option. It is going to cost us extra. Can't afford it!!!
We keep looking for one that is as big as the door frame and that can get through.

Have you ever heard of Home Fashion Nitori, the reasonable furniture store? I didn't know about it before flying back home. I was so impressed when I first browsed around in Osaka. Every furniture they sell is not only looking nice but also reasonable! What a shame, we don't have a branch in Nagano... ho-hum.
We found that the nearest Nitori is located in Koufu, Yamanashi. It is Sunday, today. The sky is nice'n clear. What stops us from heading for the Nitori???
So we went.

It took us around two hours and we found ourselves in Nitori's parking lot. (Of course, our new Honda Fit took us there!) Getting in, I was like, "Wow..." I felt the same way as I went Nitori in Osaka.
We found this sofa for two. It is upholstered in beige synthetic leather. It is so soft and comfy that you would fall asleep in a second.
.... Uh-oh, it is too big...
We found another sofa. I like the style less than the former one but we found it easier to get through the door frame. We decided to buy.
... Nooooooooo!!! It is too big for our Honda Fit to bring back!!
In fact, Nitori will deliver within limited area free of charge but Nagano is out of the area. They said the shipping fee will cost ?10,000-. Whoa, one third of the cost of the sofa... No way...

Disappointed, we came back with no sofa...
The good news is that we got a car audio on the way back. There was a hollow on the dashboard because we had got it taken off when we bought the car. We had also looked for a nicer car audio than original one.

よしと私はコンフィなソファを探しています。
カナダのIKEAで買ったソファベッド（ちなみにカナダでは何故かfutonと呼ばれていましたょ。なぜ布団。。）は、日本のアパートには大きすぎるので、売り払ってきちゃったので。。
それなりに愛着があったので、寂しかったな。売られてった時は。。
あ、思い出したらまた悲しくなってきた～。。

帰国してまず大阪のよしの実家に行ったのですが、
そこでホームファッションニトリという家具やさんを見つけました。
全然知らなかったのですけど、全国チェーンぽいし、最近がんばってる会社さんなのでしょうかね？みなさん、知ってますか？
その今時っぽいデザインと、今時っぽい価格設定（つまりお手頃v）に感動してしまいました。家具を買うならココがイイと！！

でも、長野県にはまだ展開してなかった。。
がーん。。

あきらめきれずに、今日、一番近い県外のお店へ行ってみた。
日曜日だし、天気良かったしね。
…でも、お気に入りのソファを見つけたのはいいけど、うちのお車が小さすぎて積めなかったー。。。ががーん。。
一体何しにこんな遠くまで行ったんだ私たちは。。
