心に染みたエッセイ

一気に、涼しくなりましたね



ベニシア・スタンリー・スミスさんのエッセイの中で、とても、心に染みた1節があったので


ご紹介したいと思います。

苦労が人生を磨く


　人生は月のように満ちたり、欠けたりするもの。


　人生の旅路は、次に何が待ち受けているのか分かりません。


　予想もしなかったことが起こり、心から愛する人を突然失うこともあるでしょう。


　私達は、ありのままに受け入れることを、ゆっくりと学んでいくのです。


　そして、運命とは偶然ではなく、私達が自ら選び取っていくものだと悟るのです。


　粘り強さと根気をもって、一生懸命歩めば、道は開けてくるでしょう。


　そして、今生きているこの瞬間を楽しむことを知るのです。


　

　心を穏やかにすれば


　あなたの人生が美しい世界に囲まれていることに気づくでしょう。髪を揺らす風や、赤ちゃんの笑顔、美しい



　花に留まる蝶など、ごく何気ないものの中に、本当に美しいものがあるのです。


　幸せは自分の心次第です。 


　
Difficulties can make you a jewel 


 Life is like the moon:It waves a wans.


 We never know, on our jouney of life, what lies around the corner.


 An unexpected event may happen, or we may suddenly lose someone we dearly love.



 Slowly we leearn to accept life as it comes.


 We realise that it is our choice, not chance, that in the end determines our destiny.



 Through perseverance ant patience, our life untolds, and we learn to enjoy each


 moment. 


 If our heart is tranquil,

 we begin to realise that the beauty of this life lies in the simple things like the wind


 blowing through our hair, a baby's smile, or abutterfly landing on beautiful flower.



 Happiness depends on ourselves.
