Dire prospect for the world if the US leech on world economy is allowed to suck blood for 100 years
Imagine that US keeps sucking blood like a leech from world economy, by having a trade deficit at US$600 billions a year and then printing US$1 trillion or more new money a year to refill its wallet, for 50 or 100 years, what would be the prospect for the world? ( 日本語版:世界経済の米国蛭が100年間血を吸うことを許されたならば、世界の極暗い見通し ) In my view, this has 3 effects,
1. US is using costless money paper to exchange for a large amount of real wealth from the world.
2. US$ will keep devaluating, so although the face value of US's foreign debt grow indefinitely, and the blood it has sucked grows indefinitely, but the real value of its foreign debt actually does not grow much, so it can keep sucking blood from the world.
3. In the long run, US will become stronger and stronger, the rest of the world gets weaker and weaker, not to mention that US spends so much on military with the support of the stolen wealth. In the end, U.S. will evolve into a super carnivore lion while all others reduced to herbivorous preys for U.S.
For any country other than US, its economic problem has to be solved by two ways: either by saving on consumption and reducing expenditure, or by working harder and becoming more productive. But US has an additional way, so much more easier, i.e. to print more dollars and import more from the world. Since the master of bankruptcy Trump came into power, the per-year US budget deficit has soared to US$1 trillion, and in 2020 the deficit reached US$ 3.3 trillions. In 2021, the projected US budget deficit is more than US$ 2.2 trillions. We have already seen the US trade deficit keeps rising to new heights, it's easy to infer this trend will continue as more new moneys are printed and shelled out to its citizens. America's greed has no ceiling and the blood-sucking will keep on increasing. The irony is, we can expect that Americans will raise up the volume of complaining voice as usual, and blame their trade deficit on other's unfair practice instead of their own greediness, whining for the job loss of their workers while laughing the world behind closed doors.
The year 2019 is the onset of harvesting time for the America leech on world economy, signaled by US budget deficit exceeding US$1 trillion threshold. The more new money America issues and shells out through its ever growing budget deficit, the more trade deficit US will have, and the more blood-sucking on world economy by US, and the more dollars each country will have in its foreign currency reserve account, and the more difficult for the world to ditch this garbage currency (since that would mean a total loss of a big sum of hard-earned money from their foreign currency reserve accounts), and the more difficult for the world to escape from the US$ trap, the more convenient for US to suck more blood from all the countries in the world, the firmer a horse harness is fastened to the world for it to be exploited forever by America.
Putin correctly labeled U.S. as a leech on world economy. My contribution is to point out that all countries except U.S. will face a dire prospect due to the long-term cumulative effect of this blood-sucking. Moreover, if we do not stop it now, the least of all possible bad outcomes is that the world get stuck in US$ trap forever, then, all countries in the world except U.S. will embark on a inescapable path on which they are destined to become the herbivorous prey of the carnivore U.S.
Even for countries that are developed and do not have a trade surplus with US, due to the huge advantages of blood-sucking uniquely enjoyed by US, the best possible fate is to become hyena while US becomes the lion, and you know how lion treats hyenas, right?
U.S. has been stealing resources and wealth from the world through trade deficits for some 30 years, with the accumulated amount well above $10,000 billion. The deal is simple, U.S. prints more dollars each year (about $500 billion per year), and exchange the paper money with real wealth through trade deficit (extra imports over exports). This exchange has been lasting for some 30 years. In essence, U.S. sent the world a big sum of dollars, which is a logging of an IOY ( I owe you ) in a ledger, but the fact of the matter is that U.S. has never intended to pay back and will never be able to pay back the IOY. This is equal to "I owe you a lot, but you can not cash in the IOY from me, maybe you can cash it in from each other", isn't that stealing? Let me put all the numbers together for better contrast:
U.S. military spending: ~$750 billion,
U.S. trade deficit per year: ~$500 billion, ~67% of total military spending.
The protection fee per year requested by Trump on Japan: $8 billion, 1.1% of US spending, 15% of Japan spending. US also collects protection fees from many other countries.
The combined military spending by the next ten countries is significantly less than $750 Billions.
So the "parasite" on world economy is nourishing and sharpening its teeth and claws by blood-sucking the world economy.
Americans may argue that, since it pays interests to its foreign debt, so it should not be called stealing. This argument is wrong and misleading. The US$ system is Ponzi scam, as pointed out by my other article (ref. 1).
Currently America is the topmost superpower, on its way to evolve into a world-ruling Rome empire from a mere superpower, or to evolve into a super carnivore out of a herd of herbivores. Trump certainly has given us a pre-trial of the taste of a ruling Rome empire. Trust me, Trump will not be the last Trump of America, the next Trump can be more crazy. Thanks to Trump, we now know that America must be curbed, and no one should be an accomplice to help America to evolve into a super carnivore.
In cosmology, when a celestial body's mass is greater than a "critical mass", it is destined to collapse into a black hole. In the evolution of countries on the world stage, if a strong country has too many advantages, so that it can use its overall advantage to suppress the progress of any other country in any specific area it wants, then it is destined to become a super predator country.
Over and over again, Americans have used its overall advantage to suppress progress of other countries in area which they see vital. This happened with Japan in semiconductor area, with France on the Alstom case, with China on Huawei and 5G communication, with Germany on "Nord Stream 2" project. Please check out a French book "LE PIÈGE AMÉRICAIN" (The American Trap).
In the 20th century, if a country gained top position in the production capacity of cement and steel, it became a superpower. However, in the 21st century, the importance of leading in science and technology far outweighs the importance of leading in manufacturing capacity. America is the only superpower in science and technology that is far ahead of other countries, and U.S. also uses unfair means and its hegemony power to block other countries' catching up. Countries in the world should focus not to the tonnage of steel produced by China, but to the gap between U.S. and other countries in science and technology, military power and financial power, as well as the widening gap of these. All countries must unite to deal with America to prevent America from becoming the lion king, while other countries fall to hyenas, buffalos and antelope.
Forget about the China threat hype, it's a deflection trick by Americans. Even if China's economy surpassed America's, its military power will still lag behind U.S. by a lot and has no chance to catch up. There is no definite proportional relationship between GDP and military power. For example, Russia's GDP ranks outside the top ten in the world, but its military power ranks second in the world. But more importantly it is the rest of the world that provides the majority of the resources that supports the huge American military spending, no country can out-spend on military than US.
From the above, we can see US is very close to the "critical mass". I think the indo-pacific strategy is an American plot to secure its transformation to a super carnivore state. The strategy has as its part the shift of manufacturing supply chain away from China. I have no problem with it If it's to move the supply chain back to US or other developed countries. But this has huge problem if it is to move to other 3rd world countries, esp. India whose population is exceeding China's. This has at least two serious issues. 1. it is hugely counter productive to the global effort of reducing green gas emission and it will accelerate the global warming. Why? Since this shift won't lower China's emission much (Because China is already developed, having good infrastructure, a complete manufacture supply chain, and a well-educated workforce, you can't take those away), but will create anther China. 2. Humans raise cow for milk, termites raise aphids for honey, America raise a country to suck blood from its economy. If America could succeed in shifting of the supply chain to some 3rd world countries, then all the countries except US are doomed to become America's herbivorous preys.
There are many difficulties in getting out of this US$ trap:
1. The US has been sucking blood like this for a few decades already, and many countries earned quite a lot of US$ using its blood and sweat. But we must realize that the later we solve this problem, the more pain we will suffer, the more we will be exploited. Therefore the problem must be solved or we face the dire prospect.
2. US has a powerful influence or control over global press, it's very difficult to make the world to be aware this threat.
3. It is even more difficult for the world to come up with an effective and less painful strategy to cope with this problem. But that's the task for the best economists and politicians of the world.
In my opinion, the leeching on world economy by US is the topmost no.1 threat for the world except U.S. Regardless all the difficulties, the problem is too important to be given up without a fight. There is not much time left before we fall so deep into the dollar trap that we will no longer be able to escape. Please rise up and do whatever you can to help to stop this.
Please help to spread the words about this important information and awaken the world.
