For Winners in a Capitalist Society, Let Them Be, But Tax Them Appropriately - The Duty of Leaders is to Provide "Means of Survival and a Path to Recovery" for the Losers.
In today's capitalist society, there is no politician who would say, "Don't worry, life is full of things that won't go your way.
Even if you fail, it's not your responsibility."
The words that come out of politicians' mouths are all about "individual responsibility."
I don't want to be lightly told about individual responsibility by those who became politicians just because they happened to win the lottery.
There are even people who claim that not having luck is also an individual responsibility.
It's a terrible situation.
In the end, life in a capitalist society is inherently "unequal and unfair" from birth.
No matter how foolish, if you are born into a "prominent family," you can become great without making any effort.
People who are far more helpless than us are the ones ruling this country.
That's the nature of a capitalist society. It bends even democracy with the power of wealth.
For the ruling class, which includes capitalists and business leaders who drive capitalism and politicians and bureaucrats who drive democracy, it must be a very comfortable society.
In contrast, the vast majority of people who support the massive infrastructure of capitalism, democracy, and liberalism are nothing more than slaves from the perspective of the ruling class.
Otherwise, there wouldn't be ideas like "giving financial aid to citizens is a waste since they'll just save it," or "giving money to citizens who have no investment ability and only save will not stimulate the economy, so we should increase taxes on such citizens" coming up.
You have no right to dictate how we should use our money.
Don't worry about being manipulated by the ruling class in this "life where you are manipulated as they please."
Before reflecting on yourself, remember which one, the ruling class or yourself, is the necessary and valuable entity in this world.
That being said, in a capitalist society, one must earn a living.
If you can't earn, you'll end up on the streets, or worse, facing death - it's a cruel society. However, this is absurd.
There are plenty of people who live leisurely without working.
Yes, I want to tell the ruling class, "Stop kidding around."
The ruling class always forces competition on people who are serious and obedient.
They never say such an unequal and unfair competition is level playing ground to those who never complain.
In a way, we are being forced to compete to support the ruling class. That's why there's no need to worry about losing in such an irrational competition.
You can proudly accept help from the ruling class.
After all, competition generates far more losers than winners.
It is the duty of politicians to come up with policies that allow losers to participate in competition again.
Politicians who cannot do that are not needed.
"Politics that do not let the citizens fall behind" is the real politics.
In a capitalist society, let the winners be.
They are just individuals who climbed up using the social infrastructure created and maintained by the efforts of ordinary people.
It's alright to collect a substantial amount of taxes from them as fees for using this infrastructure.
Instead, it is the duty of politicians to provide "means of survival and a path to recovery" for the losers who are at their limits of existence.
