The Dangers of Unchecked Capitalism and the Illusion of Freedom and Democracy

Allowing capitalism to run rampant under the guise of "freedom and democracy" might lead to an ever-expanding otherworldly wealth gap, driving citizens to desperation and possibly sparking revolution or coup.

Yet, leaders of freedom and democracy nations turn a blind eye.

For better or worse, the Liberal Democratic Party, which has carried Japan's post-war politics, especially the Abe faction, the largest faction within the party, is facing a crisis due to a hidden money scandal related to political funds.

Even in democratic nations, politicians seem disappointingly absorbed in fundraising, neglecting their political responsibilities.

Have the politicians in this country become embodiments of greedy capitalism?

However, the recent state of capitalism is so outrageous that one might feel sympathetic towards such politicians.

The abnormal capitalism, particularly exemplified by the excessive capitalism in the United States, where sports figures earn billions, challenges the notion of working for a living.

To them, ordinary citizens seem insignificant.

Consider this: relying solely on the excuse of freedom and democracy, if the otherworldly wealth gap continues to grow, leading citizens to desperation, revolution or coup might be inevitable.

Yet, leaders in freedom and democracy nations turn a blind eye.

Moreover, observing the hidden money scandal surrounding the political funds party of the Liberal Democratic Party, it seems the politicians themselves are becoming obsessed with money.

It's high time to restrain this abnormal capitalism; otherwise, the world risks being crushed by money-hungry rulers, military industries, and arms dealers.

Fundamentally, capitalism thrives on the survival of the fittest, allowing winners to monopolize wealth, despising equality, and endorsing the law of the jungle.

Is it an ideology where a handful of individuals become winners in capitalism, monopolizing wealth?

Even if billions of people suffer and lose their lives around these winners, they need not lift a finger.

They monopolize vast wealth like a national budget, using it as they please.

Consider a wealthy sports figure who receives praise for giving colleagues luxury cars or distributing gloves, while self-defense forces, police officers, and firefighters risk their lives without compensation.

It's truly disheartening.

These wealthy individuals, not being politicians but winners in capitalism, receive praise for even trivial actions.

It's no joke; they can earn an exorbitant amount of money because countless unnamed individuals maintain the infrastructure of countries and the world.

Let's get back on track.

Due to the madness of capitalism, the leaders of this country are engrossed in fundraising.

Moreover, they push aside their political responsibilities, callously blaming capitalism's losers with a "personal responsibility" stance.

Ultimately, for the leaders of this country, citizens are nothing more than election votes.
These votes can be bought with money, turning them into money-driven individuals.

For these leaders, citizens who don't bring in money are inconsequential.

Consequently, their focus shifts solely to big corporations and the affluent.

Capitalism thrives on ruthless competition, using appealing words like "freedom" and "democracy" to mask its cruelty.

Using clever rhetoric like attaching "freedom" to "competition," they deceive the common people.

Fundamentally, capitalism and freedom and democracy are incompatible values.

While competition losers have freedom and rights, without money, they can't enjoy these freedoms or rights.

It seems that many Japanese don't comprehend the abnormality of capitalism.

It's a common story to hear victims in lawsuits claim they don't need compensation as long as the offender apologizes.

The culture in this country where victims are made to say such things is frightening.

That's not the case.
It's a culture of the correct capitalist society, which, although crazy, demands only money, even without an apology.

There seem to be too many Japanese who don't understand this.

As a result, while not saying that Japan's economy is stagnating, without adopting a mindset more fitting for capitalism, Japan will continue to lose in the global greedy capitalist world.

The world continues to be in chaos with ongoing conflicts like Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Hamas.

In the midst of this, Japan's GDP has fallen to the fourth position globally.
Per capita GDP has slumped to 34th place worldwide.

It's crucial for the Japanese to wake up to their vulnerability in the world.
The time left for the Japanese is limited.
